Flashbacks
I hated the flashbacks in this film. Not because of what they show, but because the fact that they're flashbacks isn't easy to tell. This made getting plot points a little hard. Nothing against flashbacks, but you have to make sure that the audience knows what scenes are flashbacks.

Get The Wrong One Out
A name that cast and crew referred to this movie as was Get the Wrong One Out. This was a reference to both finding the mole AND the director's previous film. If you want to know, I haven't seen Let the Right One In yet.

Has An Old Timey Spy Feeling
One of the reasons I enjoyed this film was the fact that it appeared that it was made back in the day. The music, font, and other things made it appear that Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a space time anomaly. It has the quality of a film of today but the feeling of an old film.

Final Thoughts
This isn't a bad film, it is enjoyable. If you don't like slow films you won't like this one. However, if you want a good feeling film (quality wise), this is a good film to see. This movie is a remake and based on a book of the same name. I haven't seen or read previous incarnations. Though I believe one character that is gay in this film was straight in a previous incarnation.
