Here are terminology in my dragon army relating to relationships. These can be either platonic, familial, or romantic relationships. This list will expand from time to time as language is constantly evolving.
Yeaflon language is extremely complex and hard to translate. There are three main dialects and learning even one of them is near impossible. Some think that due to their high intelligence, and how hard Vulch was to survive on in the beginning, helped to form the complex languages. As the Yeaflon usually have to translate to be understood, they usually appear very proper and unemotional. Because of translation issues it is easy for a Yeaflon to accidentally appear rude when that was never the intent.
If a Yeaflon wishes to learn another language they have to endlessly repeat phrases, words, and basic sounds. Once they do learn a language, none of their unique learning process can be detected.
Today another movie tells us why you shouldn't mess with bringing the dead back to life. The Lazarus Effect came out today and I can't wait for a chance to see it. If I hadn't had an appointment earlier I would've attempted to go to a small local theater to see it. I do plan to see it in the near future, so hopefully you'll see my review of it soon.
Update: Well another giveaway has come and gone. Congrats to the two people who got eggs and the third egg has been hatched and will be released to the Abandoned Page soon. If you can't wait for the next multi-egg giveaway on my blog, head over to the Dragon Cave Forums. There, on my signature, I have single egg giveaways daily usually. And if you don't like an egg I'm giving away currently, there are boards there where people trade and giveaway eggs. I would love feedback about this giveaway. So please comment below about what you liked, didn't like, what eggs you would want to see next time, if you came from Dragon Cave if you read other articles on my blog because of this giveaway, if you're a blog reader who didn't participate but joined Dragon Cave because of this giveaway, ect. If you wonder about my dragon army you can go HERE for more info. I would adore feedback on my never ending project.
Finally, if you would like to show off your artwork for the next giveaway go HERE for more info.
This Valentine's Day I saw a movie I had been waiting to see for a little bit: Project Almanac.
Wait? You thought I meant that movie that glorifies abuse and isn't as erotic as it's supposed to be in the books, never mind that the theatrical release will have to be even more watered down.
Nope, I enjoyed sushi with my fiance before seeing a movie with an actual non-abusive romance story. Plus it had time-travel which is always a plus in my book.
Figuring my blog readers should get something that I can actually give away.

Not every person you talk to about your work will like it. And, hey, they don't have to. Part of what makes the world of fiction so awesome is how varied it can be. All the opinions and styles that fill the vast fictional landscape help make it the way it is today.
So you will receive negative constructive criticism at times and that's a good thing. That tells you that people care about your work and know you can do better.
Since dealing with criticism is an important part of being a writer, I'll be talking about that today.
One thing that makes an already bad work of fiction worse is when it doesn't know what it is. That it's pretending to be something that it's not. This creates disconnect for the readers/viewers/listeners. The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy tries to tell a romantic story which is ruined due to it not really understanding that it's about abuse. So any signs of abuse are pushed to the side instead of being examined.
If it did admit it was about abuse it would be a much stronger work of fiction.
I am sorry with the lack of updates here. I have been at revrezner's house since a week ago and so haven't been able to work on blog things I've wanted to for this blog. However, I have been on Dragon Cave a lot of the time due to the ease I can access it on my phone.
And I have named two of my recent dragons after the awesomeness that is Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk).
