One day a White Dragon was healing dragons after a great battle. Many were terribly injured with lost limbs and nearly loss of life. But the White Dragon was able to heal them all, fighting back the heartache she felt.
Weeks after the great healing that she had performed, she became dissatisfied with the life of a pacifist. Why should she not cause hurt in a world that was ruled by torture and pain? Why should she not succumb to all the wickedness that the world had to offer? Why should she not eat meat?
As these thoughts went through her mind, and her life became more unstable as the will to resist temptation lessened, she saw a wolf. A wolf that was bigger than normal was looking right at her. And when she looked into its eyes she felt something. A calmness that was too great for words.
After that encounter she stayed true to her breed and healed many more dragons during her lifetime.
