Relationship Terminology (Jash's Dragon Army)

Here are terminology in my dragon army relating to relationships. These can be either platonic, familial, or romantic relationships. This list will expand from time to time as language is constantly evolving.

Blood Brother/Sister
This refers to dragons that consider themselves brothers and sisters, but aren't related by family. Some dragons only consider themselves Blood Brothers/Sisters only after a ceremony is performed.

Life Mate/Forever Mate
This refers to a lover that a dragon will never leave and is a relationship that will produce children. Some clans leave the latter part out.

Mate
This refers to either a long-term lover or a short-term lover. But it is usually refers to a lover that the other dragon won't stay with long and in some clans is any relationship that doesn't produce children.
