The Danger of Bees

As promised, I'm starting to do small posts about my spirituality from time to time. I feel most comfortable doing the posts here and the poll had only one vote which meant most people don't care where I put these posts. Yes, when I run polls it's not only the choice with the most votes but how many votes there were total.

47 Meters Down was released in 2017 and starred Mandy Moore as Lisa and Claire Holt as Kate. Since the sequel, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, is coming out soon and the the first was out on Netflix, I decided to finally give it a watch.

Coming Soon: The Untapped Potential of Daenerys Targaryen's Turn to Madness

Game of Thrones Season 8 saw the end of the show that started in 2011. It had quite a task of giving viewers a satisfying ending. Of course whatever ending chosen would never have satisfied everyone. But it was as if the showrunners didn't even try to give a logical ending to the series. Some plot points were too rushed and not fleshed out enough to have any impact.

One of those plot points was Daenerys Targaryen becoming a villain. Both her turn and her being mad were underused. So much could have been done with her character arc that would have left viewers in pools of tears. Instead she took less than an episode to decide to be a villain and the following episode she hardly got to do anything else before dying.

The Wolf's Concubine (Mini-Review)

The Wolf's Concubine by Erin St. Charles is either the second book in Shifter Enforcers or Gods and Concubines. In a full review I would've made sure of this fact. But these Mini-Reviews are my initial reactions so...yeah...

Stranger Things Season 3 (Mini-Review)

I just finished the third season of Stranger Things that aired on Netflix on July 4, 2019. This is one season that will leave me a little bit off for a few days at least. The finale had two major deaths. One that was one of my favorite characters because that's the kind of luck I have. The other was a character I did not expect to feel sad about and cheered their death on early in the season.

My first fandom was Animorphs and I always end up returning to it. As a ten year old it felt good to read books where the author treated me as an adult. That the author trusted me enough to go on the dark journey with them. As an adult I am able to see how dark the series actually was. Though the ant morph is equally terrifying as an adult as a kid.

That isn't to say there wasn't any fun stuff. Whenever Ax is in human morph he eats anything in sight and plays with his food. Marco's lack of driving skills is just hilarious. Visser Three works well as the villain of a Young Adult series, but not so much as a series for adults. Though he still stands the test of time.

If you have a kid, starting them on Animorphs wouldn't be a bad idea. There is sadness in the series, but there is also hope. It gives young people a look at important topics while making them laugh.

Buried (Mini-Review)

Buried was released in 2010 and starred Ryan Reynolds. The movie is about Paul Conroy, a civilian truck driver in Iraq, waking up in a coffin. Throughout the movie he tries desperately to get help. I would not recommend this movie if you're in the least bit claustrophobic or have a fear of being buried alive. This movie might be a little too much if that is the case.

The Raven Speaks: Crayak is not the Ultimate Evil

In the Animorphs series it seems that Crayak is pure evil. But what if that isn't the case?

Game of Thrones Season 8 (TV Review)

Game of Thrones Season 8 had the gigantic task of giving a legendary television show a satisfying ending. It did give viewers an ending, but it was not satisfying at all.

Friends Don't Lie Giveaway (Dragon Cave)

Update: This giveaway is over. I want to thank everyone who participated. If you can't wait until next giveaway you can go to the Dragon Cave Forums where people will trade and give away eggs. I am also more than willing to breed upon request.

While the giveaway is over, feel free to discuss Stranger Things. If you blog about Stranger Things go HERE to find out how to advertise on my blog.

The first show on Netflix that I encountered was Stranger Things. It was the show that really made me want to be able to stream Netflix. The Marvel shows are good, I'm getting through them slowly because I'm busy, but Stranger Things is where my Netflix journey truly began.

I am excited that a brand new season of Stranger Things will start soon. In fact it will start as this giveaway is going on. The first two seasons have been outstanding and I'm hoping for the third one to be good. I don't need another show to be like Game of Thrones' final season. I can't handle more of that disappointment.
