47 Meters Down: Uncaged (Mini-Review)

47 Meters Down: Uncaged is a sequel that has an entirely new cast. It was released in August 2019. It is directed by Johannes Roberts. The movie stars Sistine Rose Stallone, Nia Long, and Corinne Foxx. While having a different list of characters than the first one, some style choices stayed from the first movie. Such as looking up to the surface of the sea and it turns into a pool. The fact that both sisters have some aspect they don't like about each other. The biggest change from the original is that there isn't any importance about 47 Meters. In the first movie the title came from being how far down the two sisters were.

Game of Thrones Season 8 saw the end of the show that started in 2011. It had quite a task of giving viewers a satisfying ending. Of course whatever ending chosen would never have satisfied everyone. But it was as if the showrunners didn't even try to give a logical ending to the series. Some plot points were too rushed and not fleshed out enough to have any impact.

Becoming the Dragon is the first book of The Dragon Inside series by Alex Sapegin. The book tells the story of a boy who eventually becomes a dragon. Before the actual story starts Sapegin tells the reader not to share the e-book but to have everyone buy their own copies. Maybe it's just me being a big bookworm, but I've always found sharing books to be a way of bonding. That started my reading experience off a little sour.

Game of Thrones Season 8 ended in disappointment. It made the series pointless as nothing really mattered by the end. Before the final season had aired I was mildly interested in the prequels to see how they'd do. Except for The Long Night as that seemed like an excuse to not answer anything in the final season.

Now no prequels interest me. I know Bloodmoon is not headed by Dan and Dave, but I still can't get the taste of the final season out of my mouth.

When I first saw the trailer for The Boys I was interested. I do like Karl Ubran and so my attention was immediately drawn to the show and there was no doubt I would watch it. Luckily my husband also wanted to watch it. I hate seeing something and then not being able to talk to him about it afterwards. Though he's probably glad I don't force him to see every bad movie that interests me.

The first season was extremely good. It had great world building and character development. Hughie, who we could consider the show's protagonist, is one way in the beginning and completely different by season's end.

I can't wait until Season 2 comes out.

The Raven Speaks: Sansa's Attitude Towards Daenerys Made Sense

While the final season of Game of Thrones was no masterpiece, it did some things right. Such as how Sansa Stark was not very warm to Daenerys Targaryen. This is because her life and upbringing would make it extremely hard for her to trust anyone not family.
