The Menu (Mini-Review)

The Menu is a satirical look at fine dining. Tyler takes his girlfriend out on a date to a very exclusive restaurant. Margot, unlike her boyfriend, is not interested in Hawthorne at all. She also doesn't consider Julian Slowik, the head chef of the restaurant, a god-like being. The evening starts off normal but things quickly go from calm to horrific. The Menu was released in 2022. It was directed by Mark Mylod. It stars Ralph Fiennes, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult, and Hong Chau.

At the same time Namor seeks to wage war on those from the surface. It is up to Shuri to battle through her emotions to find a way to keep Namor from spilling the blood of those from the surface. Wakanda Forever was released in 2022. It was directed by Ryan Coogler. It stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, and Winston Duke.

Prey for the Devil (Mini-Review)

Prey for the Devil tells the tale of a woman with the hopes of becoming an exorcist. When Sister Ann was young her mother suffered from a demonic possession. Now that she's older, she has decided to pursue a career as an exorcist. This proves difficult as women aren't allowed to become exorcists. But when Natalie arrives things start to change for Ann. The nun begins to believe the same demon that possessed her mother is now in the body of the young girl. Prey for the Devil was released in 2022. It was directed by Daniel Stamm. It stars Jacqueline Byers, Posy Taylor, Colin Salmon, and Christian Navarro.
