Now we are stepping into another series that has been cancelled. Unlike Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Fringe was given notice that it was to be cancelled after its upcoming fifth season. This allowed the team the ability to finish the series on their own terms. Hell, episode nineteen of the previous season was basically a trailer for season five.

Jax's Crime

The latest episode of The Amazing Digital Circus was intense. It was the darkest the show has ever gotten. Our colorful cast of characters have always been trapped but never before has Caine shown his true colors blatantly.

One of the most jaw dropping moments was when we finally got a glimpse into the real world. It wasn't much but it was a lot at the same time. This came at the point when Jax was assaulted with a memory of his life in the real world.

So here are my three main theories on why Jax was so frightened by the memory shown.

R'hllor has the titles of Lord of Light, the Heart of Fire, the God of Flame and Shadow, and the red god. He is most commonly worshiped in Essos with a few followers in Westeros. It is not easily seen if he is good or evil. If he deserves to be followed or not.

In this little post I'll take a look at trying to figure out if people should worship the Lord of Light or go against him.

Why Viserion Becoming an Ice Dragon Would Be Cool [Reposted]

I have wanted to write this post for some time but have waited. I don't want to stress myself out too much and pacing becomes everything to keep a blog like this running for years.

Anyways...part of the leaked plot of Game of Thrones Season 7 is that Viserion becomes an ice dragon and is ridden by the Night's King. Now the fact is that this could merely be rumors and this won't actually end up happening. So I wouldn't count this as a spoiler as it's in a state of being true and not being true.

In this post I'm not going to focus on how he becomes an ice dragon according to the leaks, but the implications of it happening. I find that to be the more interesting part.

Alan Wake and Alex Casey: More Than a Little Gay [Reposted]

The Remedy Connected Universe (RCU) is one confusing place. A large part of that reason is that it loves to blur the lines between meta and fiction. Once you really get into it you'll find yourself learning the history of the company itself.

One character that exemplifies the blurred lines between reality and fiction is Alex Casey. He is a fictional character written by Alan Wake, an actual FBI agent, and a series of Max Payne Easter eggs. You could spend a few years delving into all the crevices of the character.

For the sake of this post I won't do that and instead focus on only one aspect of the character. And what aspect is that? The subtextual gay feelings Alan Wake has for Alex Casey.

Animorphs Re-Read: Megamorphs #1 The Andalite's Gift (Chapters 21-24) [Reposted]

This chapter is narrated by Marco.

Tobias starts the chapter telling the others, minus Rachel and Ax, that he hadn't seen any signs of Rachel. He also repeats that he hadn't seen signs of Ax either. I can't imagine the guilt he's going through right now.

Shipping Confessions: Hannigram (Hannibal tv series) [Reposted]

I have no clue why I haven't talked about this ship sooner since I ship it very hard. It is one of those ships that me, and other shippers, think should be canon. Behind the scenes, Bryan Fuller has stated it's canon but not in a sexual sense. For me, I ship it with sex included.

The ship is from the show Hannibal which is about Will Graham solving crimes and his relationship to the cannibal Hannibal Lecter. The series is extremely well done in every aspect. Including casting choices and visuals.

The ship I will be talking about today is Hannigram (aka between Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham). It is one of those ships that is so twisted it is a joy for me but not something I'd support in real life.

Shipping Confessions: Bruce Banner/Betty Ross (The Incredible Hulk, 2008) [Reposted]

This is a special edition of Shipping Confessions since this deals with a canon relationship. So why am I talking about it if it's canon? The fact is that I ship it and I don't feel that Betty is given enough credit in The Avengers fandom. Plus people tend to forget that Tony Stark isn't the first or only person to treat Bruce like a human being (though he's in second place after Betty).

Sadly Betty, in the MCU, has only appeared in The Incredible Hulk and was not brought up in either The Avengers or Iron Man 3. So I only have one movie to work off of here.

The canon ship I will  be talking about this time is Bruce Banner and Betty Ross. A couple that really seems to be forgotten by the majority of the MCU fandom.

The Incredible Hulk follows Bruce Banner running from General Ross and having to deal with another Hulk-like creature. During the movie Bruce runs into Betty Ross, a girlfriend of his before the gamma ray experiment accident, and ends up having to part from her at the end of the movie.

Animorphs Re-Read: The Andalite Chronicles (Chapters 13-19) [Reposted]

Chapter 13

Elfangor talks about morphing training. How every Andalite is first given the djabala to turn into and, if the Andalite passes that test, then a kafit (a type of bird). Elfangor says that he had fun morphing into a kafit but how horrible morphing into a Taxxon is going to be. This reminds me of when one of the Animorphs (probably Marco) comments on the fact that they used to morph pleasant creatures.

Shipping Confessions: Jesse Flores x Riley Dawson (TSCC) [Reposted]

Again we find ourselves at the doorsteps of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. There are just so many reasons to come back to this show. As this is another edition of Shipping Confessions, we are looking at yet another non-canon ship from this masterpiece of a television series.

I say that I like femslash because I find myself attracted to femslash pairings easier than slash or heterosexual ships. I don't mean that I have more femslash pairings than any other kind of pairing, just that there is something special I feel towards femslash pairings. I don't fetishize these kinds of pairings to the point it affects my perception of real people, like some others do.

I never bought into the relationship between Jesse Flores and Derek Reese. The pairing made Derek dumber just so the pairing would work. However, I can't deny that it's a canon ship. But who I pair Jesse with in the show is not canon and yet works so much better.

Significant Other is a science fiction horror movie centering around a couple. Harry decides to take Ruth, his girlfriend, out on a hiking trip. The plan is for them to hike for a few days on a trail Harry is very familiar with. Ruth doesn't like hiking but is enduring it because she loves Harry. Unfortunately an alien ship had landed in the woods shortly before the couple arrived. Their camping trip goes from peaceful to tense to horrific. Significant Other was released on Paramount+ in 2022. It was directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen. It stars Maika Monroe, Jake Lacy, and Matthew Yang King.
