I remember when James Cameron's Avatar hit theaters. It was a decent movie but everyone was talking about it like it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The avid fanbase made me cringe at the movie as it was good but not that good.
Shortly after Avatar's release there were announcements of sequels. But after years of nothing happening, it seemed like the franchise was dead.
If you're a fan of Avatar you'll be happy to know that a sequel will finally be released later this year. I'm going to go see it as even if the plot is subpar, at least it will look really good. And I do like Sam Worthington as an actor.
Figuring my blog readers should get something that I can actually give away.
