Update: The Pull of Fate Chapter 18 has Been Written

I've finished writing the latest chapter of The Pull of Fate and will start editing tomorrow at the earliest. All depends on how well I'm doing.

Here's a small unedited excerpt of what to look forward to:

Apollyon's Portal

When eighteen-year-old waitress Indigo Simmons meets an attractive stranger during one of her shifts she doesn’t realise that life, as she knows it, is going to change forever.

The last thing she expects him to do is to inform her that she is a witch who has magical powers and that her powers will multiply even more on her 19th birthday. Things get even more confusing when she finds out his name is Chase, that he is her guardian Angel, and it is his mission to protect and guide her to fulfil her destiny, which is sealing a magical portal (known as Apollyon’s Portal) shut to stop a shape shifting demon from unleashing hell on earth.

Scared of what might possibly happen if she chooses to ignore Chase’s warning, Indigo decides to learn more about her magical past revealing dark family secrets that threaten to send her spiralling out of control.

When the demon starts to shape-shift into people closest to Indigo, she realises that not only is her own life at risk, but also the life of her beloved sister Josie. Will Indigo be able to save the people she loves, or will the demon find a way to stop her from sealing the portal permanently?

The Voice of a Phoenix

Paid Promotion
The Voice of a Phoenix is a very personal book. It took me a long time to finish it because I still feel the pain of my “darker times.” Writing The Voice of a Phoenix helped me immensely because I was able to understand my pain. With every chapter I wrote, I learned things, discovered so much about myself, and applied anything that could be beneficial to my own life. Pain is part of life; you can't learn without it, step-by-step, but never stop. Life is worth living and worth fighting for no matter how many times you must start over.

A phoenix never dies. “Suicide is never an option” (Zee).

The Cracklock Saga Book 1: Fae or Foe?

Paid Promotion
No one would want to kill a Faery, surely?

Jack Crackley wouldn't; he has no time for make-believe. No decent teenager does. There are plenty of other things to worry about; his mum, jobs, school, the local bullies, not to mention some weird disease that's affecting kids the world over.

However, things are never as they seem. Little eyes watch out for him whilst bigger ones seek him for their own ends. Jack will have to step up if both the Fae and our children are to stand a chance. And that's a tall order when you have no idea who you really are...
