Exploring The Betrayal (Part 28)

I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day. Myself I ate sushi and watched Nightmare Alley with revrezner.

So let's finish The Betrayal by R.L.Stine!

Village of Shadyside 1900

We finally check in with Nora Goode again. The act of telling her ancestors' story is obviously more than draining on her. She is hunched over and has to stretch her fingers. Yet even though her body is wanting to stop, she feels that it is her duty to continue until everything is told.

And it'll be awhile until the end as Nora feels that this is just the beginning. Both Fier and Goode blood would be spilled in quantities too gruesome to measure. All of the blood would be spilled because of how great the Fier's betrayal of the Goodes was. Something that Matthew Fier could've mended if not for...well he must have known this was a prequel so...yeah...

Nora reiterates that her story is only beginning and that it's not a pleasant tale. Honestly, I didn't expect anything different from R.L.Stine's Fear Street series.

Nora returns to her task and the book ends with a TO BE CONTINUED...

This book was more than enjoyable to read. Some parts were a little too goofy but, overall, it was a good time.

Please comment below with what book you want me to cover next.
