For the giveaways this month, I'm celebrating rarepairs. These are pairings that have ten fanfics featuring them and probably less than that. Heck, some have zero fanfics as of the writing of this post. I am also very interested in what rarepairs you ship, whether they are the same as those showcased or not.

For these rarepairs I am focusing on those I ship. Whether or not anyone else ships them. So no pairings like Jon Snow/Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones or Rachel/Tobias from Animorphs.

I was looking at a picture of Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) and Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) and started imagining an AU of them. Jorah would have just been disowned and went to a bar. Drogo would run a bike gang and take a liking to the Mormont. Then the two would hit it off. Sadly never had time to write the fanfic. ARG!

I also grew to like them together in canon.

Sometimes I don't understand why I ship what I do. But, hey, at least I'm enjoying myself and that's what matters.

Top Ten Things I'd Love From Game of Thrones Season 8

It is my opinion that you can dislike something from a series you love. No one will dispute that I am an avid Animorphs fan and yet there are problems in that series. But pointing them out does not mean I love my favorite series any less.

The same thing is true with Game of Thrones. I adore the series but feel Season 7 was extremely lackluster. So my expectations for Season 8 are not very high. If I were to do a Top 10 list of what I actually expect from the final season it wouldn't be happy and I want this post to be happy.

So this list won't as much about how I think the season will play out as I would like it to play out. Yes, I am letting my inner fangirl write this post.

Jorah Mormont/Arya Stark is a pairing that started as a joke. It was a good crack!ship that wasn't supposed to be anything other than that. I saw Maisie Williams in a green dress. Green is one of the colors of House Mormont so I started to joke around. Then I listened to one song and another of my rarepairs was born.

I will have a slowburn fanfic featuring them in the future.
