You Need a Teacher Giveaway (Flight Rising)

Shipping is a wonderful thing. For those who aren't yet familiar with the term: shipping means enjoying the relationship between one or more characters.

For me it's yet another way to enjoy a series that I love. I will ship characters together that I wouldn't in real life because they aren't real. There are no actual consequences. I'm not influenced by fiction to think that an unhealthy relationship is perfection.

Now we come to the topic of Reylo which is the name of the ship between Rey and Kylo Ren from Star Wars.

We still don't know if the two are related yet some people are pre-grossed out by possible incest. Some have said they'll stop shipping the pair if the two are related. Myself...they're fictional characters so the real life consequences of incest need not apply. So, yeah, I'll still be shipping them if they are related because they aren't actually real.

In my quest to give back to my loyal blog readers, here's another giveaway. This time I'm giving away dragons (I know, shocking) from the site Flight Rising. Unlike Dragon Cave, you can't sign up at any time but have to wait for a registration window. Go to the HOME PAGE of Flight Rising to check when the next registration window is. Even if you can't make this giveaway, you can participate in future ones. I am jashykins on the site.

Now this giveaway is running a little differently than my Dragon Cave one due to how breeding is done on Flight Rising. The number of dragons I give away each time is dependent on how many eggs are produced in the 'giveaway nest'. I have selling my dragons in the Auction House and Exalting others as part of my income on the site. Losing a little here and there is fine, but doing constant giveaways is a no no.

This time I am giving away three dragons. The parents are Elfangor and Kali.

On Dragon Cave I'm getting a little more serious about breeding more dragons so that there will be more options for future giveaways. So if I'm trying to breed one type of dragon I'll have more chances of actually successfully getting the type I'm aiming for.

A Quickie: Why I Love Negan (The Walking Dead)

I want to start off with that I am not saying Negan is a moral character. In this post I am not saying that I agree with what Negan does all the time. In this post I am not trying to absolve him of his many sins.

Characters I adore don't always have to be moral characters. I am fine with liking problematic characters as they are fictional. It's not like I'm saying I would like to meet them in real life. In fiction there is a safety net so one can admire a person like Negan.

So why do I enjoy the character so much?

"Sam, I'm going to have to go back one day. Everything I've accomplished I'm going to have to leave behind. I'll have to leave behind you, Alex, Eve, and our child. I'm saving this world only to never see how it blossoms."

"You're living in both realities now, correct? You can continue doing so."

In his eyes I saw hurt and I more than understood why. He had just met me and fallen for me, now I was telling him I was going to leave. He was only going to join the Mormonts because I was there. The same reason Alex had for joining. I didn't want him to hurt and I didn't want to leave him at this facility.

"I can't." I said sadly. "If I do then the fabric of all the realities will start to break. After...after one of my children died I was able to go to an alternate reality. I can't keep on going to new worlds when I'm in duress."

"So I'm supposed to join the Mormonts for you just to see you go?" Sam asked angrily but still didn't move his hand. "I'm supposed to change my life just to see you leave me? Why do any of this, then? Why not continue working for Umbrella? Why do anything if you're just going to leave in the end?"

Sam brought up the same questions that I had been thinking about. When he and Alex brought the questions up it made me feel stupid. It made me feel like a silly, little pup. There was no good answer about why I was leading the Mormonts. But he, Alex, and myself all deserved an answer. My husband and lover because they were dear to me. Myself because I shouldn't wander the world without knowing why.

"I guess because of guilt." I replied quietly. "I did horrible things while working for Umbrella. I did things that I won't ever be able to make up for. I helped humanity crumble all the while thinking I was doing the right thing. I can't ever make up for all that I did, but I can put humanity where it belongs. I won't be able to see what all my efforts resulted in, but my soul will leave this reality clean."

"And do you think that will convince me?" Sam asked.

"It has. You haven't removed your hand yet."

Dragon Cave recently released two new breeds. One breed has different color variations and each color variation has dimorphism. I was able to get one of each breed but not enough to cover every variation.
