And here is yet another Hannibal quote. Is it becoming even clearer that I just love this show?
This quote talks about Hannibal Lecter who is the killer that everyone is looking for. Hannibal has the ability to hide right under your nose without you suspecting a thing. I cut out the part of the quote where Gideon says that Will will have to kill Hannibal as capturing the killer won't do the trick.
I'm posting this quote, instead of a Star Wars one, today because I've seen the show get a shitload of unfounded hate recently.
I've recently run into a Kelly Clarkson song called "Honestly". It is a nice, slow, and emotive song. It has a lot of emotion but none of the song jumps out at you with a loud volume. I would highly suggest giving it a listen to.
I chose these lyrics and the show Revolution due to this week's episode. At the very end of last episode, Charlie is given no choice but to kill Jason. In this week's episode she has to tell Tom and it ends with her begging him for death while he was the first to offer death to her.
This was a heartbreaking scene as neither character sees eye to eye but it took the death of Jason to give them an inkling of connection. Their pain over Jason's death is such a shared experience that it makes the scene even more powerful than it already was.

The Eternal Heart: Fragile Package 3
The burning smell was about as bad as
seeing the metal parts of me. I knew I was metal and that my humanity had been
tainted, but seeing proof of that was a thing unto itself. Because when I had
proof like this that I wasn’t human, but a hybrid, then I wondered who I had
been before. Was I someone that had sided with Skynet or had I been against it?
I put thoughts of the metal showing
underneath my burnt skin to the back of my mind. Right now I had to look at the
burning chopper wreckage to see if Star and Barnes were there.
“Star! Barnes!” I shouted and looked for
any movements or the slightest sounds of a cry for help.
But I heard and saw nothing.
“John...” Katherine said and I quickly
turned to her.
She wasn’t in good shape and didn’t have
the benefit of being a hybrid to help her. I knelt by her and felt her stomach.
If she survived but her twins died, then John would be distracted from the war.
He wouldn’t be in good shape if just Katherine died so I didn’t want to imagine
his reaction to his unborn children dying.
“Katherine?” I asked and tried to lift
her up.
I stopped after she groaned. Shit. How
was I supposed to get her somewhere safe? Skynet would probably be coming by
soon. Maybe I was trying to carry her the wrong way.
“You need to walk. Can you do that?” I
asked.
“John?” Katherine asked and looked at me.
“I feel like I fell or-“
“You crashed, Katherine.” I told her.
“Skynet will be coming soon and I need to get you to safety.”
“Weren’t there others?”
“Barnes and Star scouted an area ahead
and found somewhere safe. They are
waiting for us there.” I lied and figured the truth could come later. Right now
I needed her to move as quickly as she could.
As I managed to slowly help her up she
said, “John, if I die-“
“You aren’t goin-“ I started to say.
“You never wanted to accept that I could
die. I think that’s why you didn’t want to send me on missions. But if I do die
I just want you to stay away from Jash. You’re a human, John, and you deserve
the love only a human can bring. Promise me.”
“I promise.” I replied since there was no
other option. If Katherine was going to confuse me for John, I didn’t have the
time to correct her.
“And if you’re going to die, want to do
it at another location?” I asked after she didn’t move for a minute.
Katherine’s reply was to smile weakly and
I helped her walk. I didn’t know where to go since I hadn’t gotten a good
layout of the land while I was crashing. I didn’t know if I was even going in
the right direction, but I had no choice. I had to continue going forward.
It was hard work getting anywhere with
Katherine in her current condition. Besides it being a pain in the ass to move
her, she kept confusing me for John. While I didn’t mind the tidbits of gossip
I was able to get from her, some of what she said was a little more personal.
Sexual stuff was included in what she was saying. Sometimes she thought that
they were just starting their relationship and so didn’t know John’s turn-ons
and turn-offs.
While this could’ve been amusing, the fact
was that for three hours I had to go with imagining John and Katherine together
in detail.
As the fourth hour approached, I saw a
broken down building. It seemed to be crumbling but was otherwise stable. Maybe
other people had been here recently and so there would be supplies. Water and
food to last us a few days was all that we needed. I could always give
Katherine my clothes if need be.
“Katherine, we don’t have to go much
further.” I told her and her only response was to nod.
I felt her stepping a little more quickly
as she realized the walking would end shortly.
As we entered the building, I looked around
to make sure that there weren’t any surprises waiting for us. Of course if
there was a Terminator my small handgun wouldn’t do much to it. I would have to
battle the metal hand to hand and hope that hybrids were well built to fight
against other Terminators.
After two minutes nothing came out to get
us so I set Katherine by some stairs. I let her down slowly and allowed her to
choose how fast we went. After she was sitting relatively comfortably by the
stairs, I started looking around in detail.
There was some food and water that would
hold us over for the next few days. I then looked for things I could use to
make a makeshift bed for Katherine, as this building hadn’t been one for
sleeping in before Judgment Day.
As I made Katherine comfortable on the
makeshift bed, I started to fully realize a problem. I had known about the
problem before, but now things were calm and I could reflect on it.
I couldn’t tell if Katherine’s twins were
now dead or if they were going to be born like they should. I stayed up all
night with those thoughts going through my head.

Matt Smith in Terminator: Genesis
While I am not looking forward to Terminator: Genesis, that doesn't mean now and again news about it will intrigue me. I am always going to be hopeful, until I see the film myself, that it'll actually be good. I don't want it to be bad, but I feel it's heading that way.
One bit of news has made me more interested in going to theaters to see the film. That bit of news is that Matt Smith is going to be joining the cast of the reboot. Yes, Matt Smit is going to be in yet another series featuring time-travel.
My Doctor is 9, aka Christopher Eccleston, but Smith's Doctor in Doctor Who was the first one I kept up with. Each week I'd be waiting to see what happened. So when I heard the news that Smith was going to be in Terminator: Genesis I had, and still do have, mixed feelings about it.
On one hand I am going to see what Smith can do outside of Doctor Who. Whenever I read an author like Timothy Zahn who is most famous for his Star Wars novels, I read something non-Star Wars (aka series/work in question) related to see if Zahn (aka author in question) really is a good author. Same thing I like to do with actors. I like to see if I just like their one role or their acting abilities as a whole. With Terminator: Genesis I'll be able to more fully judge Matt Smith.
But on the other hand, Matt Smith will be in Terminator: Genesis. It's a film I don't have much faith in and now my sorry ass will be rushing towards the theater when it comes out. Hell, I don't know if I can calm my fangirl heart down enough to not just run out to the theaters now.
Matt Smith's exact role isn't know yet. What is known is that he'll be playing a character that is close to John Connor.

Vesnali 2014 Ending Tonight
![]() |
Info From HERE |
I have, however, been having a great time collecting flowers and coins. So I'll be having a big spending spree later.
While Esther's shop will be staying up all year, the Vesnali items from 2009 to 2011 will be retiring tonight. Which is the same time that Vesnali will end for this year.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Title: The Winter Soldier

Rated: PG-13

------------------------------------------------------------------
The Winter Soldier
Everyone probably knows who the Winter Soldier is so this really isn't a spoiler. Well...it was supposed to be but now it isn't so it's in the grey area of Spoilerville. What I find really heartbreaking about Bucky (aka the Winter Soldier) is that he is fighting for a side just because he's brainwashed. I really hope that Steve is able to help him soon after the end of this movie so that Bucky doesn't need to take the journey to his memory alone. I know that in the comics, at least I've heard, that Bucky takes over as Captain America for a little bit. So I know that Bucky will fight for the right side in the end. To say that I adore all the cute headcanons that people make up about Steve and Bucky is an understatement.
Black Widow
It was great seeing Black Widow (aka Natasha) kicking ass again. Besides her kicking ass, her character was developed even further. She was calm when Steve was highly nervous about being on the run. It was Black Widow who had to make the call between keeping her secrets safe and striking against Hydra. And she made the right call. She was a strong character in this movie and I can't wait to see more of her.
Hydra
Just...wow. Not to spoil what happens, but Hydra is sneaky as Hell. It's a beautiful and scary thing to behold. One of the big info dumps happens when Steve and Natasha uncover a character who we thought was dead. That whole scene is creepy as Hell as you find out exactly what Hydra has been up to since the first Captain America movie. Those who watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will already know how far Hydra has gone, but this scene still serves as filling in a few gaps.
Final Thoughts
This was an awesome movie. There are mid and post credit scenes. So remember to stay until the very end. The ending of this film really makes me wonder in what direction the MCU will now go. I know they'll do what they intend to do well, but I don't know what exactly will happen. And before I go: On your left!
