Re-Releasing a Plushie for St. Paddy's Day

Info From HERE
Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone! Wear green or you'll get pinched! I have Irish heritage on both sides so kiss me!

With that out of the way...Subeta has re-released the Lucky Ghostly Plushie for Saint Patrick's Day. I like the fact that the expression on the plushie seems to be it going, "Yeah, baby!"

I have a feeling this one might be a drinker too.

This lovely item can be found in the Crystal Shop.

Sayings Sundays (March 16, 2014)

The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth is a very well done series. Even though I don't like Allegiant as much as the other ones, that one takes a huge risk and I applaud it. Though I did guess the certain event that would most likely happen half-way through the book so I wasn't as broken like I was by the ending of Mockingjay or Cujo.

Throughout the trilogy there are many twists and turns. Good guys become bad and bad guys gain some humanity that they didn't before.

The society is broken into different factions that are based on values that each faction believes are the way to achieve peace.

The Candor believe in complete and total honesty. They believe that one lie is just as bad as any other.

Tris learns some haunting things in Insurgent so it's no wonder why she'd question the positives of knowing the truth.

I watch the show Pretty Little Liars and looked up this song because of it. I won't say how many times I've listened to it so you can continue to believe I'm someone you can trust.

The upbeat tone to the song is great and Ingrid Michaelson has a very nice voice.

The image I chose to use is of my ultimate OTP: Science Husbands (aka a sexual/romantic relationship between Bruce Banner and Tony Stark)!

I chose the first line in the graphic because both Tony and Bruce have things that they are ashamed of but shouldn't be. Bruce's thing is the other guy (aka the Hulk) harming people when Bruce can't control him. Tony's thing, among other things, is the whole incident in how he started to build the Iron Man suit including a guy sacrificing his life for him.

Both have become more than their faults and each wants to remind the other of that fact.

Hannibal "Hassun" Review

I am a Hannigram shipper and this episode warmed my heart. Now I admit the pairing of Will and Hannibal isn't the cleanest of relationships. But my discussion of the pairing will be saved for another time.

However, Hannibal works towards what he believes is helping Will. There were a few moments that Hannibal was sad that Will didn't like what he was doing for him. And why would Will be thankful to the man who locked him away?

Hannibal telling Will that it's good to be admired might be him telling Will how awesome he is...in Hannibal fashion which is sort of creepy to everyone else.

There is also a saddening scene between Alana and Will where she is practicing what she'll say in court. I wanted to hug them both as Alana said she isn't in love with Will. Of course, this being Hannibal, it could be that she's sad to admit to Will that she doesn't love him. But I'm really hoping it's that she doesn't like lying to him about something so important.

Freddie Lounds appears in the courtroom scene and tries to twist things to make it appear like Will is a killer. Luckily it's pointed out that she's been sued for lying and so she's not a trustworthy source. Besides, why would you bring in Lounds for your side?

No offense to Freddie's hair, but it seems like the side hellbent to blaming Will is willing to do anything.

Chilton appeared and he was more dickish than usual this week. I'm used to not really liking him but this is the first time I wanted to shoot him.

While I haven't liked Jack Crawford since the Season 1 Finale, this week he proved that he is capable of redeeming himself. Whether he defended Will out of spite or if he truly cares for the man I don't know. It was good, in any case, to see Jack talking about how awesome Will is.

Now for the people out there that fantasize about Will and Hannibal: you'll love the scene when they're getting dressed for court.

I originally thought that Hannibal committed both murders, but it seems that's not the case. So who committed one or both murders? dun dun DUN!

Shipping Confessions: John Kennex/Dorian (Almost Human)

I am a big sci-fi geek. I just love the genre and all that it offers. So when Almost Human was announced I was excited because of the genre, Karl Urban, and J.H.Wyman. It was like a holy trinity of assured awesome.

The show centers around the human John Kennex (Karl Urban) and the robot Dorian solving crimes together. I built up my ship of John Kennex and Dorian rather quickly and it kept getting reconfirmed with every episode that aired.
John Kennex hates synthetics (aka robots) and isn't afraid to show that hatred to others. The Pilot episode had him pushing his MX out of the car while it was still in motion. Oh, in this world police officers always have to have a robot companion as the world has grown extremely dangerous.

Back to the point of this post: John doesn't like the fact that he has to work with robots for his job. He doesn't like anything synthetic and so also hates part of himself. I don't mean to talk about some emotional part of himself, I'm talking about his synthetic leg.

However, John is more accepting of Dorian than other robots because Dorian is more human than the others.
Dorian is a DRN which is a model that was discontinued due to them malfunctioning. John is only given Dorian due to no other MXs being available for his use.

Dorian is more human than John is at points. He is able to tell what would be going too far when talking to children and even helps out a DRN in one instance. That episode was awesome for double Dorian, but that's not the point of this post.

Constantly throughout the first season Dorian questions if he might go rogue sometime in the future. He wonders if he's merely living on borrowed time until he suddenly malfunctions. The episode where he meets his creator and an XRN really reinforce Dorian's doubt about himself.

At the start of the Season, John doesn't like Dorian. By the end John likes him so much that he makes sure to tell the board that Dorian is an excellent cop. Of course when John recounts the story to Dorian he makes sure to do it in a sarcastic manner. But if John didn't do that he wouldn't be the John Kennex we know and love.
John and Dorian are a great duo if only for how they play off of one another. While Dorian is a robot, he manages to battle wits with John many a time. He even manages to play tricks on John every now and again. Such as making John eat something he doesn't want to and setting up an online dating profile for him.

In one of the many scenes where the duo is in the car together, a hilarious bit of dialogue is said and then Dorian shows John his junk. The lines were set up such that it seems John wanted to see Dorian's junk, but then he just pretends to be disgusted.

I mean...John even complimented the size of Dorian's robothood. Almost like he was jealous that Dorian's was bigger than his.

John and Dorian hold each other together. John defends Dorian's honor at one point and ends up seriously damaging an MX. Near the beginning of the Season Dorian helps out John with information that will help keep his synthetic leg in good shape.

There are many instances where they goof off with each other and just as many instances where they help each other in some way, shape, or form.
I hope there is a Season 2 for Almost Human to see more of this pair together.

What will I talk about in the next Shipping Confessions? Prepare yourself for a femslash pairing! The pairing is from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and is between a kick ass woman and a strong Asgardian warrior.
