Brutasha Fiesta: The Great Implications of Why Natasha is Sad at the End

And now we have reached the final part of Brutasha Fiesta. Yes, this great mini-series was never meant to last. It was only meant to explain certain parts of the ship in the film. So for my blog readers who loathe Brutasha: you're suffering is at an end.

For now...

Anyways, for the final part I will talk about why Natasha is sad at the end of Age of Ultron and why it isn't merely her mourning over Bruce.

Brutasha Fiesta: Reason Bruce Left

Like any good romance, Brutasha is a complex thing. Hell, this is my third Brutasha Fiesta post. One of the things about the ship is that these are two people who love each other but aren't in the right place in their lives to form a stable relationship yet.

Hence we come to today's topic: the reason Bruce Banner left the Avengers at the end of Age of Ultron.

Brutasha Fiesta: The Real Sterility Interpretation

Now Natasha saying she's sterile is possibly one of the biggest controversies of Avengers: Age of Ultron. I believe it stems from a simple misreading of the scene. The thing is, the scene is nuanced so if you just look at what is happening instead of why, you miss out on a much bigger conversation that should be happening.

Brutasha Fiesta: Natasha Being Dominant

Avengers: Age of Ultron is a great movie. One of the big controversies of the film is the romance between Bruce Banner/The Hulk and Natasha Romanov/Black Widow. Some people seem to misunderstand important aspects of the relationship and so cry things like sexism.

As a Brutasha shipper, thank you fanfic writer whose name I can't remember, I don't see a lot of the things that others seem to point out. Though the only thing that I have to complain about is the fact that we get their relationship after it's been established so people who didn't ship Brutasha before thought it was a ship that came out of nowhere. Besides easing us into the relationship, one big thing that attracted me to the ship was Natasha overcoming her fear. So I was disappointed I didn't get to see that on screen.

Over the course of four blog posts I will show you some analysis of the pairing that I think many people have misinterpreted.

Starting off I will prove that Natasha isn't some 'just a romantic interest' now that she's in a relationship and that it's her that is the more powerful of the two.

Well this is a new thing to be covered on Shipping Confessions. This is the first ever crossover ship covered in this series! Now crossover ships are not a new thing and there is a whole section on fanfiction.net for these types of fanfics. You just take characters from one or more series and then you put them together. Awhile back I wrote a post about how Tobias and Bruce Banner were similar. Well that connection between the two eventually lead me to shipping the pair.

I joked about shipping them and then I seriously started shipping them, proving that I can't do crackships (aka ships that you joke for fun but don't truly believe).

Animorphs is a series about six teenagers, one being an alien, trying to stop an alien invasion until backup can arrive. It's actually very dark and deep for a YA series.

The Avengers is a movie where superheroes team up to stop an alien invasion.

I will be talking about the non-canon pairing of Tobias (Animorphs) and Bruce Banner (The Avengers).
