Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (Into the Fray)

I couldn't continue this game for awhile. My Dad is now retired so it's harder to use the tv for my own uses. Then I went to revrezner's house and I couldn't play the game there. So today was my first time in awhile that I could continue my adventure as Starkiller.

So let's get started!
This time around it's fighting with really no plot to speak off. But all the battling and kicking ass is worth the sacrifice.

You know those little bug-like droids that we've seen throughout the game? I don't have to be reminded very much of them as those little nuisances are very close to my mind. I thought they would just continue to be those things that posed no real challenge and were created merely to annoy you.

However, there was a nice little challenge with them. They are draining energy from the ship so you have to use Force Rage to kill all four of them at once. Other bug-like droids attack you but, as I said before, they are really only nuisances so there's no need of concern.

The only reason this took me longer than it should have is because I didn't know I didn't have to click all four of them individually in one move. And, no, you can't do that with these ones.

I also encountered a little glitch when I was trying to jump somewhere and then got stuck in a room. I couldn't leave this room in any manner. I tried running into walls, using Force Lightning, and using Force Push. The only way I could get out of this room was by restarting the game. Luckily enough this game actually saves correctly.
You run into some more Terror Troopers that are sometimes paired with regular Storm Troopers. If you just fight using lightsabers then your Force Sight will last longer. They were very fun enemies to fight.

The only really annoying parts were the jumping sections.

I am NOT counting the jumping section where you have to move boxes via Force Grip. This one took a little effort but not as much as the sections I am referring to.

The sections I am referring to have you having to time things exactly. The ship is falling apart so you have to run and jump across two sections of walkways that drop away.

A thing to remember with those parts is to keep calm and focus on making sure you stay on the walkways. Of course you still have to move fast but don't worry if you are too slow the first few times. You have to know how to do what you need to before you can do the actions.

I spent a little bit just falling and not completing the jumping sections. If I had been recording it as a Let's Play I could have a five minute blooper reel with all my mistakes.
Since my Dad came home during those sections I wasn't able to cuss as much as I wanted to.

While the jumping sections really annoyed me they looked wonderful. I love fire so even when I fell to a fiery death a part of me enjoyed it. What I never enjoyed was Rahm Kota's constant reminder to hurry up.

Hey, old fart, how about you come down here and help then?

A cool fire room happened and you had to fight without getting burned. Very nice indeed. I got to kick ass and avoid fire. Totally awesome.

There are some sections where you have to run through, not get killed by lasers or fire, and fight off enemies at the same time. Those sections are quick and relatively easy.

So what about the plot?

Go through a ship and try not to do die. That's really all there is as no character is given much depth here. I don't remember even Juno being commented on.

The Eternal Heart: Angelic Savior 6

"You disobeyed Barnes?" John asked with a hint of amusement. I think it amused him when I took things into my own hands.

"I just figured that he would've gotten his ass kicked if I hadn't rescued him." I replied.

I knew that John would discuss the previous night with me. I had been waiting for it, actually. I had been waiting to see him again and to hear his voice. Living in Hell meant that there weren't many things to look forward to. One of the things in this Hellish life I had to look forward to was John.

"He's not as headstrong as the others." John said, still trying to appear like the leader.

"Well he trusts you," I said with a small smile on my lips. "That's got to mean he has some brain damage."

The leader facade swept away from his face as a grin replaced it. Seeing him smile was worth all the pain. Making him smile made me feel that my time being brainwashed by Skynet was being erased.

"You trust me." John said back to me.

"I never claimed that I was the smartest person here." I said and tried to put on a serious expression. I failed at this and burst out laughing.

"You do have to follow orders, though, the other men won't respect you if you don't." John said, suddenly serious. "And if you keep willfully disregarding rules I don't think I can help you."

"What if I don't need your help?"

"Doesn't matter, you want it."

John was right, of course. Even if one day I could physically escape him, my heart would always belong to him. I would never be able to escape him and I didn't mind. I didn't mind that fact at all.

"So what should I do next time?" I asked him. "Let him or someone else get themselves killed? Just watch them die and feel good because I followed orders?"

"If you want to be a soldier you have to follow orders."

"I'll follow your orders." I replied and saw his sad smile.

I knew that he doubted himself and didn't like when others put their full faith in him. He didn't like it when everyone around him seemed to die for him. But who couldn't help but follow him?

John's face just screamed at you to be loyal to him. It told you that whatever else happened, he was the one thing in life that would never change. He would always fight to defend you and the rest of humanity.

And his body was strong. It would be good to endure a long fight without tiring. It would also be good to push me up against one of these walls that were surrounding us. We could have a glorious moment of heaven and then hold each other as we settled down from the ordeal.

I was about to shake my head when I realized it was beyond useless to try and resist. I wanted him and I could tell that he wanted me. We both loved each other and if I had to be the one to make the first move, so be it.

"John, you're stronger than you know." I told him and moved slowly towards him.

Not because I was afraid of frightening him, but because I was nervous for making such a bold move.

"Everyone says that, I don't believe it." John replied.

I put a hand on John's face and felt what I had been longing to feel for a long time. He titled his head ever so slightly to better fit into the palm of my hand. He wanted to feel comforted and I wanted to help him feel comfort.

"I would never lie to you, John. If I thought you were being an idiot I would tell you without a second thought."

"I know, that's why I like you."

"Not that I would want to call you an idiot."

"I know that too."

I continued to build up my courage as I leaned with my lips towards his. The breath from his mouth was driving me mad, so I went slower to try and keep myself calm. I wanted this and with his breathing I could tell that he wanted this too. I knew then that both of us wanted our lips to lock quickly so that he could take me here and now.

I knew in that moment that I didn't care what happened as long as John entered me in every sense of the word.

But before our wishes could be fulfilled, John put a finger on my lips to stop me and said, "No. I need to think."

"I understand." I told him and I did.

But I was tired of holding back and I knew that he had to be too. However, he was married and so he was facing confusion that I couldn't even begin to understand at the moment.

I loved him, I truly did, and so I would wait. I owed him that.

Major Drills is Now a Challenger

Info From HERE
First off: I'm not a big battler. I do like to battle but it's more for fun and I don't take it as seriously as a lot of battlers do. I'm more of a quests sort of gal.

I love Major Drills quests as they allow me to explore parts of the site I wouldn't normally explore and sometimes they help me gain achievements. You can do twenty of his quests a day on a normal account. Not sure about a Gold Account as I never did Major Drills quests when I had one.

So seeing that if I do enough Major Drills quests I can battle the guy who's been sending me on random errands and kick his ass is beyond great!

Well...it might be awhile until I get my battle pet (Mephostophilis) at enough strength to kick Major Drill's ass.

You need to do 600 Major Drills quests to unlock this awesome new challenger!

A Knights Tail Returns

Info From HERE
A lot of the newer members of Subeta might not recall this Fee Gift off the top of their heads. But to me, as an older member of Subeta, this made me think that there had been some error in this Free Gift.

This is because this Free Gift had been given out six years ago and had been in memory of Heath Ledger who had recently died at the time.

Besides being in The Dark Knight, Ledger had starred in the film A Knight's Tale. Hence the pun of the item name.

I deeply wish that Ledger hadn't died and so could have given us many excellent performances in the future. As The Joker he seemed to have a hit a high point that could've meant he would've just gotten better.

So let's bow our heads and give a moment of silence for this fallen actor.

You can get this Free Gift HERE.

Almost Human (Season 1)

Show: Almost Human

Season: 1

Episodes: 13

Created By: J.H.Wyman

Released: 2013-2014

Rating: 5/5

Basic Plot: In a not-so-distant future, human cops and androids partner up to protect and serve.
-----------------------------------------------------

The Draw of Karl Urban
I was interested in this show for a number of reasons. One of those reasons being Karl Urban. I first learned of the actor in the movie DOOM (horrible adaptation, but fun movie) and found myself running into him in different movies. So when I saw he was starring in this show I knew I had to watch it. And, if you're wondering, Urban does a fantastic job as John Kennex.

The Futuristic World of Almost Human
This is a sci-fi show so it having a good world to get lost in is a must. Throughout the series we get things expanded on like The Wall, genetically modified people, and robots. We get how each is viewed and their relations to the world. Don't worry about the visuals as they are very well done. So not only do we get a neat world to live in, it looks good too!

Kennex and Dorian
One of the things that is driving this show towards success is the relationship between Dorian and Kennex. Throughout this Season Kennex has changed his viewpoints concerning Dorian and Dorian has continued to support Kennex. Both are able to joke around with each other (Dorian making Kennex a dating profile at one point) and they are equals. I can't wait until Season 2 (if that does happen) where we might get more of an insight into Dorian's past.

Final Thoughts
Almost Human is an above average show on tv. That may be me being biased since J.H. Wyman is heading this project. Wyman was a huge part behind the final season of Fringe and he shines in this show like he did in that one. I am not a big buddy cop person but that part is one of the driving points of the show. Episodes are aired out of order and I've heard it said that if you watch them in the intended order the show makes more sense (I haven't watched them in the intended order but I haven't had a problem with the show myself). So here's hoping there's a second season so we can see what hijinks Kennex and Dorian will find themselves in!
