ORPHANED. HUNTED. ON THE MENU.

After seven years apart, Jon, Kelly, and Travis Bishop move in together with a foster family, and it seems their lives may finally be normal again. But while exploring little known Pandora’s Cave, a freak earthquake traps them deep underground. In the cave they witness an alliance between a mysterious businessman and a group of terrifying demons that promises to plunge our world into darkness and death.

The good news? The kids have video proof of the entire event. The bad news? The video may still be in the demon-infested cave, and nobody believes their story.

Talking With R. L. Gemmill

What was the inspiration for writing DOOMSDAY?

The idea struck me and I began outlining the book. But the outline became very long. Soon, I realized I had an entire series to write.

What was the writing process like for DOOMSDAY?

I wrote ten pages a day, every day. But only after I had a thorough outline.

What music did you listen to while writing DOOMSDAY?

I listened to Nightwish while outlining the books in the DOOMSDAY Series.

What was your favorite scene in DOOMSDAY to write?

My favorite scene in DOOMSDAY is when Kelly, Travis and Dr. Parrish escape from the cave, believing they are safe. But the demons, who can't come out in the sunlight to get them, know their names and where they live. "We'll get you....when the night comes. The dark belongs to usss."

What was the hardest scene in DOOMSDAY to write?

The battle in the McCormicks' home was difficult to organize.
