I read chapter eleven of Animorphs #3 The Encounter by K.A.Applegate.

The Raven Speaks: Adelaide's Memory Was Jumbled Until the End

Us is Jordan Peele's second movie. Like Get Out there are so many questions to explore and it calls for multiple viewings. One of the minor questions of the movie is about Adelaide's memory. I don't believe her or Red had their full memories during the movie.

Jonerys: A Disappointing Endgame

Any time I rant constantly about something, it's always because I keep seeing how good it could have been. The little kernels of greatness hidden away in what I was given. The Host by Stephenie Meyer might not be the worst written book of all time, but it's my most hated due to the potential it had in its pages.

This is the same reason I dislike the pairing of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. The show's version of Jon/Daenerys wouldn't be a good endgame due to how it goes against what the show is. Endgame, for all my non-shipping readers, is the relationship that lasts until the last scene of a book, movie, ect.

Hopefully the books will give readers a much more satisfactory storyline between those two. But all we have now to go on is the show's version and so that is what I will talk about today.

The Raven Speaks: Jorah Mormont Could Be Azor Ahai

One of the biggest mysteries of Game of Thrones is who is Azor Ahai. More than a few characters have been theorized to be the ancient hero reborn. I've decided to talk briefly about one of the less talked about candidates.

The Raven Speaks: Fanfiction is an Art Form

This week I decide to tackle something that's been on my mind often. Since I write a lot of fanfiction I do have some opinions on how other people view it. In this video I decided to focus on how it isn't considered an art form by many people.

I was extremely disappointed with Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish's death in the seventh season of Game of Thrones. He was always a clever and cunning man. He was prepared for any situation. He was like Hannibal Lecter without the cannibalism. He would never be so foolish as to make a plan that could be easily solved and dealt with.

Yet that is what lead to his death. Was it surprising that an intelligent character acted stupid? Yes. Was it a good surprise? No.

I don't think it is likely that a Faceless Man died in his place, but the theory is enticing. I would rather believe that than the writers messed up his character so badly. I had been waiting seven seasons for him to die and I want years of my life back.

Jash Reads: Animorphs #3 The Encounter (Chapter 9)

I read chapter nine of Animorphs #3 The Encounter by K.A.Applegate.

The Raven Speaks: Jonerys, Jorah Mormont, and Other Things from the Game of Thrones Trailer

An actual trailer for Game of Thrones Season 8 finally aired. Instead of going over every small thing in the trailer, I will go over some things that interested me.

Star Wars: Shatterpoint (Book Review)

Shatterpoint focuses on Jedi Master Mace Windu. While there are many times I agree with the Jedi, there are also times I disagree. And with each chapter it does seem that Matthew Stover adores the character. Or at least can get into his head.

I Will Break the Wheel Giveaway (Dragon Cave)

Update: This giveaway is over. I want to thank everyone who participated. If you can't wait until next giveaway you can go to the Dragon Cave Forums where people will trade and give away eggs. I am also more than willing to breed upon request.

While the giveaway is over, feel free to discuss your favorite theories about Game of Thrones Season 8. If you blog about Game of Thrones go HERE to find out how to advertise on my blog.

There are many cool theories that have made their way to the internet about the final season of Game of Thrones. Some of them plausible while others are...well they're not. Though that isn't to say they're not interesting or fun to talk about.

Daenerys Targaryen becoming the Night Queen only makes sense if you've delved into theories about the White Walkers. Game of Thrones has done a good job about having well rounded villains and to have the Night King be nothing but a monster wouldn't fit the overall themes of the show.

So it stands to reason that the Night King can be bargained with and a treaty could be formed. Part of the arrangement could be that Daenerys becomes his bride to ensure peace for all of Westeros. This would mean, though, that she'd have to give up all the ambition that has been building over seven seasons.

Feedback on Quizzes

[make spiffy intro about having the ability for people to provide feedback on my quizzes and deciding to put some of the feedback on this post]

While there was a Hork-Bajir Chronicles, there was never a Taxxon Chronicles. If you were given the ability to make a canonical Taxxon Chronicles, what would you do? How would you structure the book? What time period would you focus on?
From THIS quiz.

I would focus on the time the alliance was created and how this went on to affect the Taxxon who would become a member of the Council of Thirteen. It would be written similar to Visser with flash-backs only no memory dump.
-Traycon3

I would probably begin with the origins of the Taxxons themselves, explaining their biology and the hive in more depth. Then, I would consider detailing a period wherein they tried several attempts to cure the hunger that never worked, until finally the Yeerks came and promised to simply give them all the food they could eat. There would be a divide between those loyal to the hive, and those who sided with the Yeerks.
-Kaleb Martin

I would focus on the Resistance with Arbron as the main character ending with his death.
-Kimberly Hart

Mountain Taxxons and their rebellion, lead by Arbron. Right after the end of the Andalite Chronicles.
-Maurits

Before the Yeerks arrived, showing the progression of the species from moderately intellegent to single minded carnivores
-Mike

Do you think Rachel would've been able to adapt to life after the war? Why or why not?
From THIS quiz.

I think it would have taken time. She was sixteen. She hadn't been in the darkness for very long. And even people who have--even victims of the worst kinds of trauma--have hope for healing. The human mind is tremendously malleable. And there is always hope.
-Jacob

I think eventually, like Jake did to a certain extent. It wouldn’t have been easy. She probably would’ve gone with the others at the end to find Ax.
-PJ

No. She had become too addicted to fighting, to the war. She would have needed another war to fight at least as much as Jake needed one, but instead of being able to live peacefully until there was one, she would have been picking fights, flying off the handle all the time, endangering others needlessly. She might have tried, like Jake so long ago, to say that she could go back to living a normal life, but she would have known that she could never do it. She already knew she couldn't, at the latest by The Separation. She knew that that desire to spill blood, to kill even, was too much a part of her, and she needed that rush and the danger it entailed to survive.
