The group discussed things for a moment and then a blonde teenage girl started to walk towards me. A red-haired woman seemed about to say something to her but stayed silent. In the girl's eyes I saw something more akin to curiosity than to trust.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"Ray Raqus." I lied.

Khaleesi had suggested the first name and I had provided the surname. My surrogate daughter had said that I was a "f***ing ray of sunshine" one day and so we decided to use that as part of my alias. Raqus, of course, was the surname of the only human family I had ever known.

I am Drode and I am a warrior in Seitou's clan. I am of the Shadow Flight and serve the Shadowbinder.

I am one of the very few dragons to actually be born into Seitou's Clan. For the most part new members are chosen from outside the clan for various reasons. I am also a rarity in that my parents are mates. In the clan breeding is a sacred duty and mates will not always breed with each other for a variety of reasons. I am a very special dragon and it seems that not enough of my clanmates understand that fact. I am a gift from the Shadowbinder for my uniqueness. I do adore my clan but the only dragons I am loyal to are Ellimist and Crayak, my parents. If they ever decided to leave the clan I would follow without a second thought. I wanted to work alongside Crayak, my biological father, but the clan was in need of more warriors. Hence I am now in the Warrior Department.

"The Kaari are a mysterious house." Jorah said. "House Targaryen destroyed them and did their best to erase the Kaari's existence from history."

"Why?"

"The Targaryens had an intense rivalry with the House that predates them taking the Iron Throne. Some say that the Kaari had a disagreement over the use of dragons while others claim that there was a more personal reason. The believers in the latter theory point out that the Kaari only officially became a House to more easily take on House Targaryen."

I sat back and closed my eyes to try to think on what my husband had said. House Targaryen had destroyed House Kaari due to a reason no one alive remembered. Genocide had never made sense to me as what that implied was violence beyond what was necessary. Killing off rivals was one thing but to feel such anger as to destroy a group of people was disgusting.

With what House Targaryen had done meant that the Kaari couldn't provide me with more useful information on my powers.

Pokemon Go Adventures Day 3

I, like the majority of people out there, have fallen in love with Pokemon Go. It has gotten me out of the house and I'm a little more active because of it. As longer projects take longer and the deluge of my Game of Thrones/Resident Evil fanfic may be getting to some people, I'll be recording my Pokemon Go Adventures to spice up this blog a little bit.

These 'adventures' are when I go out for a long walk to Pokestops and other random places. 'Adventures' are not me opening Pokemon Go now and again to see if I can catch Pokemon in my house.

I'm unsure of how long I'll be doing this so if you are interested in more Pokemon Go Journal entries please tell me.

"Khaleesi," I said as I heard her opening the door to the roof. "Did you rest well?"

"If you could call this sh*t we do resting." She said as she made her way to my side. "I remember actually having rest and not waking up every few hours."

"I have never had what you would call 'a good night's rest'."

Pokemon Go Adventures Day 2

I, like the majority of people out there, have fallen in love with Pokemon Go. It has gotten me out of the house and I'm a little more active because of it. Our swords clashed and I felt the constraints of the dress. Just as I had an advantage over Jorah, he had an advantage over me. The dance was accompanied by no music or an adoring crowd, but it felt more like a dance than earlier in the wedding.

The way of the sword was my life. It was a dance between life and death which was the only dance that truly mattered in the end. It was the dance that gave my existence meaning even in the darkest of moments. It was a dance that I was glad to have on my wedding night.
