Exploring The Betrayal (Part 28)

I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day. Myself I ate sushi and watched Nightmare Alley with revrezner.

So let's finish The Betrayal by R.L.Stine!

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 27)

I might have a precancerous mole on my back. It should take a week to get results back from the biopsy. I'm not too worried as I've had this happen before and they caught it before the mole became cancerous.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 26)

I like to give my birds treats in the form of mangoes. But even though I go through a lot to prepare their special mango mix, they tend not to eat it.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 25)

It's warmed up again. The nights are colder than the days but at least the temperature stays well above freezing.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 24)

The weekend was really cold and I think by Thursday the weather will return to normal. I don't mind some cold but...I'm appreciating Florida weather much more now.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 23)

Took my three birds to the veterinarian. The cockatiels (Jorah and Navi) have a good bill of health while the parakeet (Ghost) has to take medication for a few days. It's just a minor infection which should go away very quickly.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 22)

Before it was Jorah that was giving me a scare. Now it's Peep who is sort of old for a parakeet and he might pass soon. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 21)

The year is nearly done and this might be my last Exploring post of the year. Here's hoping for many more years of this series.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 20)

My bird Jorah has laid two eggs. With the first one I was happy but with the second one...there can be health complications. So now all there to do is to wait and hope nothing happens with Jorah.

So please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 19)

Today was not a good vertigo day. I planned to work on my next book tomorrow but...might not if I'm still feeling bad once I wake up.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 18)

After a year that seemed to never end or went by too quickly, I honestly can't decide, we're finally nearing the finish line. Give yourself a pat on the back for surviving 2021!

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 17)

Even though this isn't the longest post, it took me a few days to cover this chapter. I was surprised how short this post was as the time it took to write it was long.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 16)

I have chronic migraines which sometimes go away for a little bit. No such luck for the past few days. Fun times. Fun times.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 15)

Nothing really that exciting to report on. The only thing I can think of that's 'exciting' is that the weather has gotten colder. When I walk to get my mail every night it's a nice temperature.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 12)

Halloween is just around the corner. I thought of getting Peacock to watch Halloween Kills but...that's not enough to sell me on the streaming platform.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 10)

So things have been a little stressful in the house. One of the bird cages broke and so a new one had to be ordered ASAP. Hopefully it works and we won't have to search for another one.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 7)

I'm going to be covering a pretty big chapter this time around. So get your favorite treats ready before you get into the meat of this post. I think a cup of hot chocolate would be good so you can push the sadness away.

It's interesting that witches being burned instead of hanged is such a big plot point. This due to the fact not many popular writers stay true to the fact that no witch burnings took place on US soil.

Now let's get started reading the next chapter of The Betrayal by R.L.Stine!

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 6)

It's been stressful tonight. There's no one blaming me of witchcraft or unleashing a bloodline curse on me. But insects that shouldn't be inside the house are getting in somehow. revrezner is doing a more than outstanding job on keeping the problem under control.

Due to using pesticides inside the house, the birds were locked inside their cages earlier than normal. And, no, they were not happy about that. I'm sure I'll be hearing more about their displeasure in the morning.

Exploring The Betrayal (Part 5)

It doesn't seem like my health issues will get resolved this year. One of my doctors seems to be more of a hindrance than anything else but isn't one that is easily replaceable. He's a good doctor but isn't doing a good job of figuring out what's wrong with me. Let's hope I'm wrong about this and next visit he'll have a solution.

I love writing as it helps me escape from my not good life. So having that mode of escapism gone just...is not good for my mental health. Hopefully sometime next year I'll be back to normal!

Now instead of me voicing all my woes, let's get back to reading The Betrayal by R.L.Stine!
