Amos the Amazing is the first book in a series of the same name by Jorah Kai. Amos is a young boy living in Chongqing, China that yearns to eat the spiciest ice cream in the world. After the scheme ends with his mother in the hospital and him living with his grandparents, his life changes in ways he couldn't expect. An evil spirit steals part of his soul and so Amos is forced to traverse a strange land to get it back and save his grandfather. Along the way Amos encounters those who help in his quest and those who hinder it.

The Lucky One is a mystery by Jessica Payne. In it Norah has tried to move on from her traumatic past when she escaped a serial killer called Hansel. As she felt so powerless that night, she became a mixed martial arts fighter. When her father dies she comes back to her small town that still haunts her nightmares. And in her father's death's wake comes Hansel who has come back to torment her. Now Norah must figure out his identity before her and her friends are killed.

Father Christmas by Margot Scott tells the story of Astrid who is carrying Finnegan "Finn" Wright's baby. She is keeping the unborn child a secret from both Finn and the rest of the family. For her family it's because Finn is as close as a father to her and so news of her pregnancy would ruin that year's Christmas. For Finn it's because he ran away from her the night they had sex and she doesn't think he truly cares about her. But can love flourish even in the oddest of circumstances?

This due to the fact that the husband had gotten into an accident that greatly decreased the likelihood of getting his wife pregnant. With no other options, the pair decide to have their mutual friend Nevin make love to Cassandra so that she can get pregnant.
