Memorial Day Message (2012)
First off: I say support our troops. Troops are people and individual members.
However, war is unkind and senseless (99.9% of the time). It leads to broken families and broken lives.
I respect the military but don't think it's perfect. Respect is different from liking something.
Thank you, troops, and I hope you live a long life.
Below is a video that points out some very important things:

The Eternal Heart: Eyes Opened 3
What I said next made me feel ashamed. "I don't have a full memory of myself." I said. "I do know I fight for the Resistance. That's all I need to know."
Jesse hardly changed her expression, but Riley shifted in her seat. It was time for the questioning to begin in earnest. Everything else had been warm up. It had all been practice. Probably just for Riley.
"What day did you join the Resistance?" Jesse asked.
"After Judgment Day sometime. The exact day is fuzzy."
"How can it be fuzzy if you're so dedicated? I would imagine that's the last thing you'd ever forget."
Jesse was right. It was odd for me to forget that. Sometime after Judgment Day? Nothing of what actually happened that day? What fucking bullshit was that? I tried to remember, but I couldn't.
"Why did you join the Resistance?" Riley asked. Her voice gentle and kind.
"Hello? Skynet bad. Resistance good." I replied sarcastically.
"Is it really safe to simplify that?"
"It's the only way to fight. To not question things that will confuse you."
"So you follow without thought? You don't have your own mind?" Jesse asked. "Sounds like how metal thinks."
"How do you follow orders, Flores?" I asked. Something had changed, I didn't want to assume she was a Grey anymore.
"I made sure of the side I was joining first."
"What makes you think I didn't?"
"You don't remember when or have a clear reason why." Jesse said and nodded to Riley.
"A human would break things down." Riley said.
"Wait. Hold on. You're saying I'm not human?" I asked with shock making it impossible for me to emote.
"Jesse wouldn't let you live if she thought you were a Terminator." Riley said. "You aren't metal, but you are probably brainwashed."
There was a pause as Jesse had to put an arm around Riley. After a few seconds, Riley grew calm enough to continue, "They've messed you up. But you are human."

The Eternal Heart: Eyes Opened 2
There was silence and the only sound were small rain drops. As of now, they were spaced far apart. But a storm was assured. I hated silence of this kind. The kind when there was a coming storm. Finally the heavy rain started.
The desert, that's what it was now, didn't receive the rain very well. Luckily for us, the shack was made post-Judgement Day. We would be safe. At least the two Greys would be.
"Hey." I said when the boredom got too great for me.
There was no reaction from Jesse, but Riley shifted one foot. At least it was a reaction.
"So you two going to do anything?" I asked. "You can tie me up and enjoy yourselves."
"Don't listen to it, Riley." Jesse whispered into Riley's ear.
"Why not?" She asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" I replied. "She doesn't want me to disturb you."
Jesse looked me over and seemed to be deciding between two options. When she had reached a decision she said, "You don't have the power to disturb her. Go ahead and ask your questions."
Even though I didn't fully trust Riley, she was the most trustworthy one at the moment. "Why are you here, Riley?" I asked.
With a slight nod from Jesse, Riley answered me, "We were scouting the area. There's a Skynet Base close by and the Resistance needed more information. Jesse decided to come along."
Realizing she couldn't stay silent, Jesse added, "I'm usually away on a submarine so I can't be with Riley."
Jesse took Riley's hand in hers. That wasn't a random motion. It was a warning from Jesse.
Something bothered me about what Riley and Jesse had implied. Well, that they had said. "But there's no Skynet Base close by." I said.
"Hasn't your metal brain realized something?" Jesse said in a controlled rage. "Or is Skynet losing its touch?"

The Eternal Heart: Eyes Opened 1
Jesse Flores, who I knew as a Grey, was walking around the little shack I had found us. She didn't seem angry at the choice of location even though I would've been. Riley Dawson was following her and they were talking. I would've listened in if I could hear them.
But, as I watched them, I found out that they were using hand signals they had learned from Skynet. Well, Terminators had taught the duo the signals. Riley didn't seem to be adept at the slight signals and Jesse had to keep on correcting her.
This shack was away from the Resistance Base 42. It was still close enough, though, to run back and get others to help. Images from my dream that one night came back to me. I shook the doubts away. It had only been a dream. I was working for the Resistance and not Skynet. Never Skynet.
Finally Riley walked over to me. She seemed to be scared of me, since her movements seemed to be slow and guarded. I didn't know how I looked to her. I hoped I looked calm.
"I'm Riley Dawson." She said.
"I know, I have ears." I replied. "You're really not that scared, are you?"
"Should I be?" She asked.
"You are a Grey."
"And you are..."
"I am Jash and I fight for the Resistance. I will never give up the fight against Skynet. Never. Even if death parts me from the war."
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jesse tense up. I knew if I even moved an inch in the wrong direction, I would have to deal with her.
"And what makes you sure that you're on the right side?" She asked.
"It's the Resistance, that's enough for me." I replied, ignoring the fact that doubts were starting to build up.
Riley nodded and held out her hand. "Maybe I'll be on your side one day."
I looked at the hand. Was this a good cop, bad cop thing? Or did she really believe what she said? And did it really matter at this moment? I shook her hand and said,"The Resistance will be happy to have any soldier that is loyal."
After that Riley went to Jesse. Though their movements were small, they showed love. Not love for a fellow soldier, but for a lover. I didn't remember anyone from the Resistance acting like that.
Not even when I snuck up on them and caught them by surprise.

The Ides of March (2011)
Title: The Ides of March
Director: George Clooney
Starring: Paul Giamatti, George Clooney and Philip Seymour Hoffman
Rated: R
Released: 2011
Personal Rating: 4/5
Oscars: Nominated
Basic Plot: An idealistic staffer for a new presidential candidate gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail.
Not All Politics
For those that are worried about being bored by a political movie: have no fear! I hate politics. But this is more of a character study and has the theme of having one's eyes opened. Most of the 'action' deals with what goes on behind the scenes. As I'm not familiar with politics, I don't know how factual the information in this movie is.
Relationships in Politics
Throughout the movie you see people ignoring friendship in order to win. This is treated as an everyday event (except by the main character). It's scary to see what winning actual means and how no one is safe from playing the same games. It proves my point of politics being less about honesty than about winning.
Title of the Movie
The title refers to The Tragedy of Julius Caesar (by William Shakespeare) cannot be ignored. Both are political and both are about the death of something (one literally and one metaphorically).
Final Thoughts
I highly recommend this movie to anyone that wants to see a well done tragedy. It's very moving and will at least leave you teary eyed. Everything fits in this universe. Again, don't be scared away by the political aspect. It's much more of a behind the scenes movie.

S&N: Being New
I disliked many things now. I'd say hate but that human emotion didn't get that far. One of the things was that Karma wouldn't accept me without testing. I knew I had reprogrammed myself so that The Net wouldn't control me any more. However, getting Karma's approval was a request of Samara's. And doing what she wanted meant a lot to me right now.
If I couldn't be human, at least I could make her happy. Brushing Glau to the background had taken a lot. But, finally, we had settled on a truce. I don't know if either of us really believed thoughts of Glau were really gone from our minds.
Turning around I smiled at Samara. She was only in her bathrobe. A lovely floral design was on it. Sam was only wearing that one since Kered was going to be arriving soon.
Myself, I was naked. I had no shame of appearing naked, not that I had before I was a Machine, plus the testing would go easier without any clothing.
Sam shook her head. "Sometimes it's hard to believe that you're not human." She said. "If you were still human I'd say you were trying to make an Elemental nervous."
"That has not changed." I said and smirked. "Like before, I don't like my privacy being invaded."
Sam and I shared a short kiss before I stood up. She was beginning to get used to my senses being better than before. However, she was still slightly nervous.
I walked over to the door and opened it up a second before Kered could finish starting his knock. This made for an awkward motion of him dodging the opening door. Once he got hold of himself we stared at each other.
He knew I could kill him without a second thought now. Yes, he held the rank of Elemental Earth. Yes, he was one of the four most dangerous members of Karma. However, I was a Machine with all the knowledge of the human Nazilla.
I stepped back. "Welcome, Earth."
"You should have had your Machine get dressed, Crichton." Kered said angrily.
"Nazilla is not the enemy, Elemental." Samara said and hurried to shut the door behind him.
"It isn't human. It's a Machine." Kered replied.
"If you wanted to kill me you wouldn't have knocked." I said tonelessly.
"Naz," Samara reprimanded me. "If you don't allow Kered to do the testing, you won't be allowed back into Karma."
I thought of being an outsider. Someone that had to run from those she would save. Looking at Samara, however, I couldn't stand putting her in danger from Karma.
"Yes." I said and put my head down in shame. "Kered, no matter what you think of me now, I wish to serve Karma as I did when I was human. I am feeling nervous, for lack of a better term, about being exploited like I was during my time with The Net."
Though a human couldn't see Kered's look of pity, I could. It was slight and lasted less than a second, but I noticed. He guided me to the couch where I lay down. I prepared myself to look at his short beard for a few hours.
* * *
I looked up at Kered's face as he patched me up. I wished that he had only tested my chip, but I did see the reasoning behind checking out my whole body. The Net was sneaky. Hell, they had to be since they were up against Karma. Up against people like Kered.
I didn't get up when Kered finished. I could hear anything he said to Samara so there was no point. From Kered's footsteps I didn't detect worry. However, neither I nor The Net was familiar with any of the Elementals. The Net had the most information about Kered, but that wasn't saying much.
"She's safe." Kered said, though his voice indicated that he didn't like this. It seemed that some part of his mind just wanted to kill me. "Tell your Machine to get dressed."
Without looking at anyone I walked upstairs to Samara and my room. I put on the clothes that were on the bed. I walked back downstairs, sat at the kitchen table, and looked at Kered.
"So, Earth, does that mean I'm now a member?" I asked.
Showing the calmness of an Elemental, he only nodded.
"I also called you here for another reason." Samara said.
"I guessed as much." Kered replied.
"It's about Playful Ballet."
"That little place?" He asked. "There have been rumors but nothing ever came of it."
"I don't think that anyone from Karma wants to seem to have any class." I joked. The slight smile from Samara's lips was enough payoff. I had thought I might have to go on the run and we were both glad I could stay.
"Anyways, we have proof." Samara said. "Nazilla found something like an M-1 in their security system."
"Have you seen this yourself or is it only rumors?" Kered asked.
"I have seen it." I replied. "I can confirm it."
"Right." Kered said. I realized making him trust me would mean more than a few loyalty tests.
"I believe that the threat level is high enough to warrant an investigation." Samara said.
"If you both think it is a threat, then I will send an investigation team to assist you." Kered decided. "Hopefully it will turn out to be nothing. But hope hasn't helped us in the war yet."
As Kered left, both Samara and I escorted him out. As I shut the door I realized neither of us had told him about Glau. That said something about our relationship that we would hide a key bit of information that could help in the fight against The Net, just so we could still make love without doubt.
* * *
"Over there, Naz." Samara told me. I nodded, only to show her a reaction, and took the picture out of the trash. I spent the next thirty seconds erasing my damage.
"I thought you'd want to impress the investigation team." I replied after I finished. "I doubt you'll be with me by the time they leave. Besides, that is a terrible piece of art."
Samara stared at me and I took another look at the picture. I realized that the acid trip of a picture had been done by me. I had made it. Now I could do much better without putting much thought into the process. Though humans could argue if it would have as much depth to it.
"It surprises me how much you've changed." She said as she continued to clean up the kitchen. "I keep forgetting you're not human."
"I do have Nazilla's memories. I am her." I replied as I started to sweep the hallway.
"But having her memories doesn't make you her. Not by a long shot. Besides, even if you were an M-3 or lower, you don't think like a human does."
"We may not have the morality of a human, but we're not monsters. Hitler was a monster. He wasn't programmed to do what he did."
"He wasn't programmed the way a Machine is."
"And Machine Programming is much stronger than the urges of a human can ever be."
Samara turned to me and ran both hands down her sides and smiled at me.
"Not even sexual urges." I replied and found myself laughing.
"Then how were you able to free yourself?" Samara asked.
"A fault in the programming you could say."
"What was it like working for The Net?"
I paused to think. "There was no real feeling. I didn't like being controlled, but when I went on missions it was like an emotional barrier came up."
Samara looked me in the eyes. "I love you and I always will."
"I hope." I replied and she put a hand on my shoulder.
As I turned my head she sighed. "I wish they had given us more time." She said and went to open the door.
The four members of the investigation team walked in. I identified them as Mark, Rebecca, Martha, and Stewart.
"Welcome, Mark." I said and held out my hand. If anyone asked, I'd say I was greeting him because he was the leader. In truth, I didn't like the look he had given Samara.
He shook my hand and said nothing else except to introduce the team. Rebecca was wearing a t-shirt of a popular band and a suspicious expression directed at me. This expression was repeated on Martha's face. Though Rebecca's younger sister had a bit of pity mixed in.
Stewart was the only one with a nonchalant expression. I could see him becoming an Elemental one day. If not an Elemental, someone that served one directly.
"We're happy to help you." He said since Mark was double checking the safety of the house.
One thing was sure about them, just from my brief introduction to them, they didn't trust me. The only reassurance I had was Samara standing beside me.
* * *
Each drop of water was picked up by my ears and I could tell which ones hit Samara's body. A human would be forced to rush in and surround herself into her. By the non-erotic sounds that came out of Samara's mouth, I could tell that she was disappointed. In the human part of my mind, I was angry for not joining her.
"You're jealous." Samara finally said from inside the shower.
"I can't be jealous." I replied. "Besides, your faithfulness to me is all but assured."
"Then you're angry that Mark seems to think he is better for me than you."
I thought about that for a moment. "Yes, that would be correct."
"What about the others?" She asked and I could tell, by her movements, that she was trying to get me inside.
"Rebecca should've stuck with her singing career. She has the looks for it." I replied.
Samara laughed. "Her younger sister was the one to get her into Karma."
Yes, Martha. The files I had been given showed her to be a very good soldier. Rebecca was the only family member that knew she was alive now.
"Martha and Stewart are the only ones I'd trust." I finally said. "But Stewart follows Mark and Martha follows Rebecca. Both who don't trust me."
Sam got out of the shower and started to dry off with a towel. "Thanks for protecting me." She said and threw a smile at me.
"It's the least I could do." I said and guided Samara downstairs.
Once we neared the kitchen I could hear the team talking. Mark had finished saying something and the others laughed. From their laughter it must've been a good joke. Once Mark caught my eye he nodded at me.
I could tell he was trying to hide his hate, but it wasn't working. Not for me at least.
"You want something to eat?" Martha asked and I smiled.
"Just coffee." I replied and she started to go to the coffee maker.
"Don't, it's not good for her systems." Samara replied. Once she entered Mark's sights I could see blood rush to a certain part of his body. I thought briefly about kicking that body part.
"Machines don't need to eat or drink, Martha, it's what makes them dangerous." Mark reprimanded Martha.
"It's good to treat it like a team member." Stewart replied. "M-4s have human minds as well as AI. For all purposes, it is still a thinking creature like humans."
Mark replied with a nod that was as emotionless as steel.
Samara walked behind me to go to the kitchen. She had walked close enough behind me to alert all of my sensors. Rebecca just looked at me. She had been silent the entire time.
"Have you found anything?" I asked. Trying to keep civil.
"Yes," Mark replied. "There is an M-1 in a police station close by. We should steal it."
"What do you think, my love?" I asked Samara.
Sam paused as she realized I was just trying to anger Mark. "It sounds like the best option at this point."
"You know why we're doing this?" Rebecca finally asked.
"Of course," I replied. "I wasn't made yesterday. An M-1 would help us spy on Playful Ballet easier. And you humans need all the help you can get."
Samara didn't react to my last sentence. She knew I was attacking in the only way that wouldn't leave a physical mark.
* * *
"I'm going with Samara." Mark told the group again. I was growing tired of him trying to get into my girlfriend's pants. Sam was the reason I was still sane and I wouldn't let her go. Not now. Not ever.
"If you hadn't missed the memo, Mark, you'd know that Sam and I work as a team." I replied. I had replied in that manner for the better part of an hour. Samara was pretending not to hear the argument.
I wouldn't have been so calm about her reaction if I didn't known the reason. She wanted to keep the peace. That meant not slapping the shit out of Mark for his current argument. At least I hoped so.
"You're not Nazilla. You only think you are." Rebecca said and Martha sighed. She had been doing that a lot since the argument began.
"Okay, anyone want my opinion?" Samara finally asked angrily. There was complete silence in the room. "Naz, why don't you focus on your task of being the distraction? You don't need me for that."
I nodded. "That is a reasonable explanation." Though my human mind threatened to overpower me at agreeing with Mark.

I ran to the front of Hurnia Police Station. The rain helped tighten my clothing against my body. I used to cherish this feelings, but now I didn't care. Looks were given my way as I pounded the front counter.
"Help me." I cried. "Someone just killed..."
As the man's eyes looked at my hardened nipples I knew he wouldn't be much trouble. As my story grew I knew his attention on my story lessened. All men aren't hormonal but I could tell this one hadn't had sex in a long time. With his looks, those who liked men would usually come swarming to him.
Since I could tell that, I had my advances be in that area. As time went on I started asking about him. I found I didn't care at all. It wasn't even just because I had bigger problems. The old Nazilla would've cared and felt guilty. I just played my part and didn't care about such morals.
I heard the signal in my head and looked at the man. I went behind the counter and kissed him deeply. Pressing my body against him. It was the least I could do for him. After that I left.
I was unafraid about the cameras capturing me since they had been dealt with. As for the others in the police station? They thought I was a whore, or something similar, and so wouldn't give a damn about me.
* * *
We were back at Samara's house. I only lived there, but I belonged there more than Mark did. Which was why his elbow was a few inches deep into the wall now. I stood over him and was only concerned with making sure that he didn't make any movements that would threaten me.
There was silence that had begun when I had thrown Mark away from Samara. Wasn't it enough that I had allowed him to go with her to steal the M-1? Wasn't it enough that I allowed his presence to mess up my security over this house? Obviously not.
Stewart was the calm one. I swore he had some Machine in his blood. All the others reacted normally.
"Metal bitch!" Mark yelled and tried to get up. I stopped him.
"Nazilla, he was only trying to make sure Samara was okay." Martha said.
"I scanned her," I replied. "She is fine."
And all of them were fine. The others had only encountered minor gunfire. Samara had assured me that it was highly unlikely that they had been identified.
"You might need to get your systems dealing with emotions looked over." Stewart said. The first words he had spoken since he had gotten back. "Though they do seem to be very human ones."
I looked down at Mark and helped him up. I could tell that we were connected in that one moment. We both didn't want to be near each other. I walked him over to the bathroom so he could use the first aid kit there.
"You're out of control." Mark finally said as he started repairing himself.
"You were overstepping your bounds. You were going after my girlfriend." I replied.
"And why shouldn't I? You're an M-4, a Machine. You don't deserve her."
"Neither do you."
"But at least I'm human. At least my emotional systems don't need checking like yours." Mark said and left since he was done.
He had been angry and his judgment had been clouded. But was he right?
A few hours afterwards and I was with Samara in bed. I was remaining emotionless on the outside while my Machine and human minds were conflicted on the inside.
"Mark told you something, didn't he?" She asked.
"Yes." I said and touched her naked breast with my hand. "Do you think we should be together? I'm a Machine and you're human. The only thing holding us together is nostalgia."
Samara touched the top of my hand and I squeezed. "I don't care." She whispered in my ear. After that she remembered only pleasure while the majority of my mind was focused on what Mark had told me.

* * *
* * *
* * *

* * *

S&N: Being New 4
Each drop of water was picked up by my ears and I could tell which ones hit Samara's body.

This is where I realize what I've been doing wrong for the past three parts.
Let's Play Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (Parts 10-12)
My long awaited return to the town of Silent Hill has finally happened!
Alert: George W. Bush Guilty of War Crimes
I'm posting this merely to bring attention to it. It doesn't surprise me, though.
The Avengers (2012)
Title: The Avengers
Series: The Avengers
Type: Crossover (big time!)
Director: Joss Whedon (is our god!)
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson
Rated: PG-13
Released: 2012
Personal Rating: 5/5
Oscars: N/A
Basic Plot: Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. brings together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki and his army.
Team Work Matters
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer had a team work message. Well, right up until the final fight. The Avengers, however, keeps the whole team work message going all the way through. At first all The Avengers don't work well with each other (excluding Iron Man and the Hulk's bromance) and so have to learn quickly or else the Earth is destroyed. While it comes down to Iron Man saving the day, he couldn't have done it if the team didn't function as a whole.
Loki is Awesome
Heroes are great, but without a villain they are useless. Loki is a great villain. He is sure of himself and thinks everyone else is below him (he learned a little lesson when talking down to the Hulk, though). I can't deny I'm biased because I'm a fan of the Norse God Loki.
The 3D
While I've heard that the 3D for this movie is the post-production variety, it ain't half bad. I hate 3D but didn't mind it this time. Though if you're on a budget, I don't think missing the 3D will harm the experience.
Final Thoughts
This left me very happy (though I found out I missed the final end credit scene, as I thought the one with Thantos was it). The acting was superb and any faults were easily pushed to the back of my mind. There is eye candy for those that like girls and guys (the slight up and down motion of Johansson's twins). The effects help add to the story instead of taking away from it. I like that the threat was real and it was dealt with while paving the way for a bigger threat. All in all, you can't miss this Summer Movie.

Fringe (Season 4)
Show: Fringe
Season: 4
Episodes: 22
Developed By: J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci
Released: 2011-2012
Rating: 4.5/5
Basic Plot: Peter has been erased and so everything changes. Once Peter comes back he has to deal with everything that has happened because he didn't exist.
Dreadful First Half
Ask anyone about the first half of Season 4 and they will tell you that it was a horrible misstep. Sure, there were some good points. But the only way to describe it would be 'weird' and I wouldn't be able to explain to you what that means. Luckily, the second half of Season 4 was a glorious recovery.
Because Peter Didn't Exist
The reason for the new timeline (yes, it's a new timeline that's really the old timeline written over or something) was to show what would happen if Peter didn't exist. Some things make sense like Walter being in worse condition. But Peter can affect what will happen on an airplane flight? This didn't bug me too much as seeing another take on Fringe was interesting. Plus we learned more about the Observers (hint: they're evil!).
Leonard Nimoy Returns
In episode 4.19, we got to see a little of William Bell (played by Leonard Nimoy). The biggest surprise, though, was when Bell came back for the two part Season 4 finale! Fangasms were let out through the nations. Not only did Bell return, he was evil!
Finale Thoughts
This season started with a whimper and ended with a bang. This was the first Fringe Season I was with (I caught up over the summer). Luckily it won't be my last. I liked seeing Lincoln Lee and Peter Bishop both wanting Olivia Dunham. The most surprising thing, though, was the fact I was tearing up when the bridge between the universes was closed. The only major complaint (besides the first half of this Season) is the fact that there was no cliffhanger for this season. This can probably be blamed on the fact that Fox took it's damn time renewing Fringe for a fifth and final season.

S&N: Being New 3
"Over there, Naz." Samara told me.

The Muppets (2011)
Title: The Muppets
Series: The Muppets
Director: James Bobin
Starring: Amy Adams, Jason Segel, and Chris Cooper
Rated: PG
Released: 2011
Personal Rating: 5/5
Oscars: 1
Basic Plot: With the help of three fans, The Muppets must reunite to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon.
Original Plot
What I find interesting is that originally Kermit pretended to be the oil tycoon to get The Muppets back together. HOWEVER, this makes no sense. Why the fuck would Kermit do this? I am very glad that they decided to change this. That's just not the dark road a Muppet movie should go down.
Casting Is Fantastic
I knew a good majority of the actors (even those who made cameos) and was glad they got into the movie. While an actor does not write a movie, the casting just made the movie ten times better. Jason Segel's love of puppets made me see this movie in a greater light. Only thing is that no Frank Oz made me a little sad.
Lessons of Growing Up/Apart
At the center of this film is Walter and Gary's relationship. What makes this so moving is that everyone can relate to this. The point in your life where you and your friends move apart. Not because you hate each other, but that's because that's the way life is. Even the closet friends have to stop spending so much time with each other as time goes on. This was one of my favorite aspects of the movie.
Final Thoughts
This is a must see for Muppet fans and those who love comedy. There are so many jokes (the fourth wall jokes being especially funny to me) that telling them all would ruin the movie. I was laughing the whole way through. The cameos were very well done (such as Neil Patrick Harris).

S&N: Being New 2
I looked up at Kered's face as he patched me up.

Paternity Suit (LGBTQ Related)
People who think that a gay couple will ruin a child are missing out on a lot of other facts aka straight parents can mess up a child.
The story in the video, though, isn't fully about that.
I love it when people are able to admit the complexity of an issue without bashing lesbians. Sometimes we, as humans, have a tendency to simplify things.
My opinions about this story: I'm not sure. I'm glad that this couple is able to work things out. I don't think the same-sex couple part should distract people from the bigger issue.

S&N: Being New 1
I disliked many things now.

Fringe "Brave New World, Part 1" Review
Easy Bake Oven! And some stuff with William Bell being evil.
Laughing at Oneself
Recently Doug Walker and Mara Wilson got into a little argument (due to Wilson getting Doug Walker's character the Nostalgia Critic confused with Walker himself). Things were worked out peacefully and she made a cameo at the end of his review of A Simple Wish.
I love it when people can laugh at themselves.

The Green: Spreading and Love and Sex
I give a brief synopsis of The Green: Spreading and give a preview of the next section.
The Green: Spreading
As was becoming normal for my routine with Plague, I was sipping my cup of tea. Plague was doing Sudoku while letting his tea cool. If I even tried to suggest something he would bring up my bad relationship with boredom. But this time it was different. George Hunder knew who I was. John Johnson.
Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I walked over to Plague and touched his shoulder. He looked up at me and his expression turned sour quickly.
"Matthias, we have to stay here." He told me firmly.
"But why?" I asked.
"I told you before, we don't have any leads."
"That's because you haven't helped me with looking." I said angrily.
"No, we haven't been given anything." Plague replied. "That means we haven't gotten any authorization."
I knew what would make him change his mind. Make him more of a rebel, in a sense. So I bent down and kissed him on the lips. Kissing had been difficult for me at first, but I had improved. When he pushed back I knew I had him. After a few minutes we pulled away.
Plague smiled and said, "You're growing up. You're using your attractiveness to open doors." He paused for a moment. "I must say it worked. I'll grant leeway if you get a good lead."
I kissed him again, but meant it. There was a difference in the second kiss. It felt natural.
Over the next few hours I surfed the web. Though it felt more like drowning in the web to me. There were no solid leads. Some people were noticing Gralg, but nothing that could be used.
Then, like the big bang, there was a lead. It was something out of nothing. But, that being said, Plague wouldn't buy it. The site was one formed by conspiracy theorists. They talked about something similar to Gralg, in some aspects, but completely different in others.
The biggest difference was that their Gralg was a bio-weapon made by the government. What was their Gralg supposed to do? To do what Gralg was doing: making 'rage zombies'. Or, in calmer terms, making people attack each other.
All in all, Plague wouldn't take any leads from this website. So I continued to search.
* * *
Searching had done nothing. Three months and I still hadn't gotten any leads that had pleased Plague. Especially any that he'd even look at. Sipping at my tea I turned to look at the TV. It was again giving another Gralg Update. I turned away when even the reporter couldn't keep the tears out of her eyes.
"You okay, Matthias?" Plague asked.
Turning to him I said, "Three months, Plague. In that time the whole USA has been nearly taken over."
"We couldn't have done anything to stop it."
I threw my cup against the wall. "Fucking bullshit!" I yelled. "Total fucking bullshit. The only reason we haven't been able to do shit is because of you!"
Plague sighed. It was amazing how calm he could remain in times of stress. Like it was just an average day.
"I don't like this happening anymore than you." He replied. "But I have rules I have to follow. You don't. You could've left anytime you wanted to."
I kept my attention at the tea crawling down the wall. I didn't want to admit that I had made a mistake.
"I could change that now." I replied. "I'm going now to stop it from spreading to Canada."
A slight smile formed over his mouth and I didn't know why. For a moment he was silent and then he said, "Let me see if I can come with you."
As he went over to the computer I realized that I didn't want to go without him. I didn't want to go without someone having my back. And who else than my lover? The one who had helped me greatly so far?
For a few hours I watched the Gralg Updates. I wanted to stop it from spreading any further. And I realized that I'd have to choose between stopping Gralg and being with Plague. Taking that decision any further wasn't something I wanted to do. Not ever.
"Good news." Plague finally said and I rushed over to him. "There's a hospital by the US/Canada Border. The hospital needs some help and then we can go stop the spread of Gralg."
I leaned over to better look at the screen and smiled. "Thank you." I said.
* * *
Plague turned the shower off and didn't seem happy. When he stepped out I didn't think he was mad either. I stepped out of the shower and looked down at my penis. Even though I loved Plague more than stopping Gralg, I had trouble getting hard for him. Plague's body was angelic and my penis couldn't muster the strength to worship him.
"I'm sorry." I told him and started to dry myself off. "I don't know why it wouldn't get up today."
Plague replied with a shrug. After we got dressed he finally said, "I don't mind. We'll find a solution one day."
I nodded but I didn't believe it. I knew, from the way the scientists had spoken about sex, that it was important in a relationship. And if I couldn't please Plague, would we last? I shook my head. First defeat Gralg and then there'll be time to think about my sex life.
After packing up, I took the wheel and Plague took shotgun. There was a long drive ahead of us and it was mostly quiet. Not because of what happened in the shower this morning, but because we were focused on what could happen. After two hours a small conversation started to form.
Finally I let my feelings out, "Do you think we'll last?"
Plague stared at me for a moment. "You understand that your...problem isn't unique, right?" He finally replied. "You just have more trouble than most people. I don't think you like me less because of something you can't control."
"But you aren't pleasured by me as you could be by another man."
"That's not the point. We can get you something if you want."
"That would be good." I said and the problem was washed away. Plague put a hand on my leg and smiled at me.
However, I couldn't get it out of my head that I wasn't into men. It was so hard to get hard. But I also felt love for Plague that made my body and mind at odds with one another.
Finally we arrived. The hospital was in Gold City, Montana. Luckily, Gold City wasn't hit by Gralg yet. Though there had been traces of Gralg spotted elsewhere in Montana.
As we walked towards the door, two interns were there to greet us.
* * *
One of the interns brought me some tea. I thanked her and took a sip. Not the best, but I didn't mind. I was out on a mission to stop Gralg. Plague looked at me and I replied with a smile. He then put a hand on my shoulder and I realized I had to be serious. Whatever the cause was for this mission, I had to be calm and controlled to everyone but Plague.
"So, Noir, you know why you were called here?" One of the interns asked.
"Yes," I replied. When the two interns looked confused, I realized my mistake. "We both know why we are here. There's an unusual case."
"Who are you?" The other intern asked.
"His name is Matthias." Plague replied. "I'm sorry that he replied for me. We've both been cooped up for months."
"So then you know about the woman who isn't affected by Gralg?" One of the interns asked. She had blonde hair and a tired look to her eyes. "We thought maybe you'd be able to tell us why she hasn't gone into rage zombie mode."
"From what I could find out from George Hunder, she should be affected." Plague replied.
"Do you have any experience?" The male intern asked suspiciously.
"A little. Matthias doesn't have any, though." Was Plague's reply. "But this is purely a scouting mission for now."
A short while later the two interns began to take us to the woman. The woman intern's name turned out to be Susan Helms. She was nervous. I made sure that my gun could be easily taken out. But why should I be worried? This woman wouldn't be a rage zombie and there'd be no danger to any of us.
Susan and the other intern stood outside the door. Plague opened the door and I followed him. The pregnant woman didn't respond at all.
"She's not breathing." I said after looking at her chest.
He nodded and went over to her. He bent down and looked at her crotch. His face quickly turned to a horrified expression. As he opened his mouth to speak, I saw a blur going towards him.
In one swift motion I took out my gun and shot at the blur. A baby's laughter followed the bang from my gun. I looked for Plague and saw him hit the blur and then get up. I ran to stand in front of him but then the blur went behind him and we were both pushed to the ground.
Plague got up and I shot at the blur. After I shot, Plague aimed at the blur. When he shot I aimed at the blur. Suddenly a tentacle, that reminded me of an artery, came towards me. It nearly knocked me off my feet while Plague finally shot the blur.
I ran over to the blur and stepped on the baby's head. Blood touched both Plague and I. His face turned green but mine stayed calm. A feeling of happiness came over me. We were both safe.
The two interns rushed in and the man screamed. I suddenly realized that babies meant something to people. So why didn't I feel sad at its death at all?
We all sat on the floor. We didn't yet have the strength to get up. Susan had shut the door to the now dead woman and her blur. The silence was uncomfortable. It made me more uneasy than seeing the blur. More uneasy than stepping on the blur's head.
"You can say it." I finally said.
"There had to have been another way." Susan replied. "But, really, you had to react to the situation as it happened. I can't be mad at you for that."
"You saved my life." Plague agreed with a smile. That simple smile made me feel better.
"But why did it happen?" Susan asked. "The woman was clean. She wasn't going to turn into a rage zombie anytime soon."
This caused more silence as we thought. What Susan had asked was the most important question. Finally there was sound.
"I hardly think that matters." The male intern said. His voice was devoid of hope. "It happened."
Susan shook her head. I assumed his reply was normal. Though I found it offensive.
"What about her eggs?" I asked and then paused. "When did she get pregnant?"
Susan thought for a moment. "There was time for her eggs to get infected."
"Still doesn't make sense, though." Plague replied.
"George Hunder did mention that some of the test subjects weren't infected." I remembered. "What if the people were infected, but just not like other people?"
Plague nodded and replied, "It wouldn't surprise me if he hid things from us." He turned to look at the two confused interns. "George Hunder is the reason there is a Gralg Outbreak. We were able to talk to him."
The interns nodded. After half an hour we went to sit in the lobby. After a few hours backup came.
An army officer spoke to just Plague and I. The interns, and others in the hospital, were being questioned by officials before being let free to go home.
"We think there might be a doctor who can help us understand Gralg." The officer said. "He isn't involved with it, that we know of, but he could have valuable information. You two are to find him and bring him to headquarters. Wherever that might be in the future."
"But you must think he has the information or else why seek him out? Why can't you call him up?" Plague asked.
"He's been off the grid for awhile." The officer replied. "Or, at least, has been living under a different name."
"So what's his name?"
"Henry Johnson."
"We'll find him as soon as possible." I said without a second thought. That name. The name of my possible father. If I was, as George had said, John Johnson. Henry's son.
"Hold on," Plague said and put a hand on my shoulder. "What field of science is Johnson known for."
"It's the kind that'll help us fight back against Gralg." The officer replied. "That's all the information that I was given."
Plague nodded and he tried to keep up with me as I rushed to our car. Once we got in the car he turned to me and said, "Just let it out." Though he said it with anger, I could hear amusement in his voice.
"George Hunder did call me John Johnson." I said eagerly. "He said Henry Johnson is my father."
"And what if he was telling the truth?" Plague questioned. "George didn't say you two had the best relationship. Hell, I'd be surprised if Henry would be happy to find out that you're alive."
I thought about Yuji Makija. He had wanted me to survive, though his method had been odd. I didn't understand it, but it did make sense. Would my own father, if Henry was him, give me a logical explanation as well?
That didn't matter. What mattered now was finding him. As the hospital faded into the background, I felt more hope than ever before.
