Game of Thrones Season 8 saw the end of the show that started in
2011. It had quite a task of giving viewers a satisfying ending. Of
course whatever ending chosen would never have satisfied everyone. But
it was as if the showrunners didn't even try to give a logical ending to
the series. Some plot points were too rushed and not fleshed out
enough to have any impact.
One of
those plot points was Daenerys Targaryen becoming a villain. Both her
turn and her being mad were underused. So much could have been done with
her character arc that would have left viewers in pools of tears.
Instead she took less than an episode to decide to be a villain and the
following episode she hardly got to do anything else before dying.
