Shorm Grove (Part 14)

Talk to Me is a horror movie. Mia is still reeling from her mother's suicide two years after the devastating tragedy. She convinces her friend Jade to go to a party where supposedly there's a hand that will let them see the dead. Riley, Jade's younger brother, convinces the pair to let him join them. Mia quickly grows addicted to using the hand and soon her life starts to spiral. She begins seeing the dead even when not using the hand. Talk to Me was released in 2023. It was directed by Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou. It stars Sophie Wilde, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, and Otis Dhanji.

When she develops flat feet, Weird Barbie says that the only way to fix things is by going to the real world and figuring out who is playing with her. Ken joins her and both begin to question who they are. Barbie was released in 2023. It was directed by Greta Gerwig. It stars Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, and Kate McKinnon.

Oppenheimer (Mini-Review)

Oppenheimer is a biopic about J. Robert Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer has always been fascinated about quantum physics, the world that is all important yet is hidden. He had a comfortable job being a professor at the University of California until World War II gets too close to him. As one of the best minds on quantum physics, Oppenheimer finds himself drawn to seeing if he can create the atomic bomb. Oppenheimer was released in 2023. It was directed by Christopher Nolan. It stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, and Robert Downey Jr.

Fixing Severus Snape

My favorite character in Harry Potter is Severus Snape. To me he is the perfect combination of good and evil. The good doesn't make up for his sins while his evil acts don't make him irredeemable. It's also fascinating to see people in the fandom be completely divided on him as they focus on only one aspect of his character.

Albus Dumbledore has done many horrifying things but the fandom, for the most part, adores the character to the point of thinking of him as a saint. This shows that Snape's character arc, while I love it, was done wrong. The majority of the fandom should have hated Snape but eventually learned to love him.

With this post I will show a few different ways that his character could have been changed so the majority of the fandom would love him.

Insidious: The Red Door is the fifth movie in the Insidious series. It has been nine years since the second movie and things aren't going well. Josh Lambert is now divorced as Renai couldn't handle him after he was briefly possessed. Something neither he nor his son Dalton can remember as their memories were repressed. A thing everyone had agreed to. When Dalton starts art school his repressed memories and abilities start to break out. Josh, trying to get closer to his son, goes on his own journey of discovery. Insidious: The Red Door was released in 2023. It was directed by Patrick Wilson. It stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins, and Hiam Abbass.
