 The Dresden Files, by Jim Butcher, is an awesome series. You follow the adventures of Harry Dresden, a wizard detective, who has a lot of sass. And who doesn't love some sass? Not anyone I'd want to be around, that's for sure.

Why Joss Whedon Should Direct a Remake of Animorphs

Today I could've taken a break from writing/filming about Animorphs but I decided not to take a break. There has been something that has been on my mind for a little bit: an Animorphs Remake.

People who don't read a lot have probably only seen the horrible tv series which didn't do the books justice at all. While there are many things to talk about while discussing a possible Animorphs remake (such as should it be a movie or a tv series, if it's a tv series what channel should air it, ect.) I'll be focusing on who I'd like to direct it.

And the one I'd choose is: Joss Whedon!

Okay, originally I wasn't pleased that another Jurassic Park movie was coming out. The trailer I saw during the Super Bowl made me interested in the idea and with this latest trailer I am really excited to see the movie. I didn't think that would ever happen.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is coming so soon I can almost taste it. I probably won't be see it opening weekend, usually not that lucky, and I'd want to see it by myself first if at all possible. Trust me, with the fangasms I'll probably let out people might pretend not to know me.

I'm interested in Bruce Banner/The Hulk and his relationship with Natasha Romanoff. Also worried about any pain Bruce will encounter. Listen, it's a film by Joss Whedon so I know I have to limit how much pain my heart will experience. Which means I'll try to distance myself from characters if at all possible.

Jash's Writing Tips: Killing Off a Character

You know the feeling of reading something and are on the edge of your seat, worried for your favorite character's life, and then that character dies? I am not against killing off beloved characters, on A03 when I have a 'character death' warning just be aware that I mean 'character deaths' the majority of the time, but there is always a justification for doing so.

So for this part I will be talking about the happy subject of how you should handle killing off your characters.

An Anti-War War Series

Animorphs is a book series by K.A.Applegate that tackles war in a surprisingly realistic manner. This is especially surprising as the intended audience of this series is young adults. I originally started to read the series when I was around nine years old.

Below I will list some of the major ways that even though this series focuses on the fighting against the Yeerks, it is really an anti-war series.

This dragon has been named: Marty named her Ultimate Pango. Pango is an inside joke that developed on my podcast Jash Talks. Basically a Pango is a tumblr user. Marty helped me write a bio for her.

Personality (Yeaflon)

Yeaflon appear to be very stuck up to others. This tends to be because their language is hard to translate and so a funny joke might turn into something insulting or pompous. Yeaflon language tends to be highly precise and is able to get information out in a very short time.

Because of their own precise language, Yeaflon find other species' languages extremely lacking. They especially loathe the limits to explain their views on gender and sexuality in other languages. Yeaflon can change between three sexes and so their language reflects that.

Sometimes, though, Yeaflon are generally stuck up as they pride themselves on their bio-technology as well as their innate ability that helps them have a unique z-space navigation system.

Marco begins the chapter by saying that he admits that sneaking into the party wasn't the right thing to do, but justifies it by stating you (the reader) need to know what Darlene said about him. He then says how Ax and him morphed the mouse.

Yeaflon are omnivores. Many have speculated that they evolved that way because Vulch was an extremely harsh environment.

However, they prefer meat and most Yeaflon tend to only change their diet when there is no meat. Or when hunting would drive certain animals to extinction.

Vegan Yeaflon are very rare, though they do exist.
