The Invisible Man (Mini-Review)
The Invisible Man follows Cecilia as she attempts to put her abusive ex-husband behind her. All of her fears should have gone away once he committed suicide, but it seems news of his death was only a rumor. This adaptation of The Invisible Man was released in 2020. It stars Elisabeth Moss, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Harriet Dyer. It is directed by Leigh Whannell.

The Hunt (Mini-Review)
The Hunt is a movie about a group of Republicans waking up in a field with no idea how they got there. They quickly find out there are people trying to kill them and so must fight to survive. It was released in March of 2020 after being delayed for months due to a controversy surrounding it. It stars Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, and Ike Barinholtz. It was directed by Craig Zobel.

The Subtle Knife (Mini-Review)
The Subtle Knife is the second installment in Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series. In it Lyra Silvertongue and Will Parry eventually find their lives intertwined. Lord Asriel continues to build an army to fight the Authority while Mrs. Coulter gathers forces to defend the Authority.

The Golden Compass is the first installment in Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series. In it we are introduced to Lyra Belacqua who tasks herself with freeing her friend Roger from the Gobblers and giving a precious item to her uncle Lord Asriel. Along the way she finds that things are much more complicated than she could have ever imagined.

The Outsider focuses on an investigation to clear Terry Maitland's name. It stars Ben Mendelsohn, Bill Camp, and Jeremy Bobb. It is based on the Stephen King book of the same name. It was created by Richard Price.
