Westworld Season 4 (Mini-Review)

Westworld Season 4 sees Hale seeking to create a perfect world for her fellow Hosts. It has been seven years since Caleb Nichols and Maeve helped free humanity from Rehoboam. Yet that hasn't changed humanity for the better or worse. Caleb has found peace living with a wife and daughter. But his peace is interrupted when Hale finds him. Caleb and Maeve pair up to stop whatever plans Hale seeks to enact. Westworld Season 4 was released on HBO in 2022.

Westworld Season 3 (Mini-Review)

Westworld Season 3 finally shows viewers the world outside the park. Delores Abernathy has escaped the park and now enacts her plan. On her side is an unknown host inside the body of Charlotte Hale, Caleb Nichols former military turned construction worker, and Bernard Lowe who doesn't yet know his part. Standing against her is Engerraund Serac who employs Maeve Millay to kill Delores. In the center of the conflict is the fate of humanity itself.

Westworld Season 2 took us into the aftermath of the Season 1 Finale. It also avoided linear storytelling like the first season.

A Quickie: Dolores and Maeve in Season 2 (Westworld)

The first season of Westworld was full of twists and turns. It lead you down one path only to throw the rug out from under you. It was extremely exciting and thought provoking so I am eagerly awaiting Season 2. In the mean time I can only go over the first season and theorize on what happens next. This is hard to do as the HBO show makes it difficult to guess what comes next.

What happens between Dolores and Maeve next season really interests me. Will they be allies or enemies when we meet with them again?

Charlotte Hale is Actually Maeve

Shortly before the Season 1 Finale of Westworld I wrote THIS post. In it I promised an expanded look at my Charlotte Hale is Maeve Theory. Well, today is the day you get to see the hard work I put into that promise.

Now I admit this theory is one of the odder ones and might not end up being true. The only reason I am writing this expanded version of the theory is that I don't believe it was fully disproved during the Season 1 Finale. There are holes and I've tried to fill them to the best of my abilities. I have to thank two other theories that really helped prop my own up.

For this post I'm putting things into chronological order to help better explain things. This seemed to be the easiest way to clearly explain the Charlotte Hale is Maeve theory.

A Quickie: The Truth about the Maze (Westworld)

The maze in Westworld was one of the central mysteries of Season 1. Throughout the season people were questioning what the maze really was and if it was an actual maze. The maze was the only thing giving William (aka the Man in Black) purpose to his life.

So what is the maze?

A Quickie: From William to the Man in Black (Westworld)

One of the things that people have been saying after the Season 1 Finale of Westworld is that William being the Man in Black makes no sense. William was such a good man that someone as cruel as the Man in Black could never possibly be the man he becomes. That the change was too swift and sudden.

I'm here to tell you that William was never as good as he seemed to be.

A Quickie: Ford's Sacrifice (Westworld)

It seems as though a lot of you are interested in what I have to say about Westworld. Sadly I can't make long posts (like THIS one) about the show all the time. I say sadly because there is so much to discuss from characters to themes. However, I'm going to aim to make shorter posts to help cover some of the topics about the show that interest me.

I'll also be using this shortened format for other shows/movies/ect. that I am interested in.

Today I'll be discussing a very odd move by Ford in the Westworld Season 1 Finale.

A Quick Westworld Theory: Charlotte Hale is Actually Maeve

I am attempting to get this out before the Season 1 Finale of Westworld so I'm having to make this much shorter than I'd want to. I really want to delve into this theory and yet can't fully do that here because then this won't be released until after the finale. And after that it might be proven wrong so what would be the point of talking about it?

So if it's proven right in the finale, or not entirely dismissed, I'll make a longer post about it. If it's shown to be false I won't bother.
