Locked (Mini-Review)
Locked is an American remake of the 2019 film 4x4. Eddie Barrish's van needs repairs but the man doesn't have the money. After a day of fruitless endeavors to come up with the cash, he sees a car that is expensive and would provide more than enough money to repair his van. Eddie quickly finds out that the vehicle is too good to be true when it becomes a death trap. Locked was released in 2025. It was directed by David Yarovesky. The Capture (Mini-Review)
The Capture by Chris Grine is an adaptation of the sixth Animorphs book by K.A.Applegate. The Animorphs have discovered the Yeerk's new plan that would ensure both a steady supply of new hosts and more power on Earth. Jake is conflicted as a victory against the Yeerks could mean the death of his brother.

Children of Dune (Mini-Review)
Children of Dune is another of Frank Herbert's Dune novels. It is widely known that Paul Atreides walked into the desert and died. Yet a mysterious man known only as the Preacher seems to bear more than a passing resemblance to the deceased man. Alia, his sister, has fallen and become possessed which spells danger for everyone. The Lady Jessica finally returns to Dune in order to figure out what to do with her daughter. And in the middle of everything lies Paul's children. Everyone wants to use the children for their own advantages while the twins have their own plans.

The Monkey is an adaptation of the Stephen King short story. Petey Shelburn gets a strange toy monkey for his two sons. However, he regrets his decision and tries to have a pawn broker take it off his hands. This does not go as planned and Petey disappears leaving his wife a widow. One day his two sons find the toy monkey and the horror is allowed to continue. The Monkey was released in 2025. It was directed by Osgood Perkins. It stars Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Christian Convery, and Colin O'Brien.

Wolf Man (Mini-Review)
Wolf Man is a reimagining of the 1941 film. Blake is raised by his strict father and ends up encountering a strange entity in the forest. As an adult he has cut off all ties with his father and now has a family of his own. When he gets the news that his father has been declared dead, he decides to take his family out to his childhood home. But when they're attacked by the same strange creature he saw as a youth, Blake's family finds themselves fighting for their lives. The Wolf Man was released in 2025. It was directed by Leigh Whannell. It stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, and Sam Jaeger.

A Long Time Dead by Samara Breger is a vampire romance. Poppy wakes up as a vampire with all that entails. At least there is Roisin, a fellow vampire, who is able the guide her on the ways of being a vampire. Poppy finds herself falling deeply in love with the older woman. But Roisin's past and regrets soon have them parting ways. But no matter what paths Poppy ends up going down, she is always thinking of Roisin.

Heretic is a horror movie. Two Mormon missionaries go to a man's house in order to talk about the Church of Latter-day Saints. While at first he appears welcoming, his darker intentions are slowly revealed. Escape isn't just about survival, though, it's about belief. Heretic was released in 2024. Terrifier 3 (Mini-Review)
Terrifier 3 sees the return of Art the Clown. It has been five years since Sienna and Jonathan Shaw survived Art's previous rampage. Sienna is having trouble differentiating reality from fiction due to her trauma while Jonathan tries to put the incident behind him. Both will have to face their trauma head on to have a hope of surviving Art the Clown's latest string of murders. Sienna, though, will also have to face a new threat. The Substance (Mini-Review)
The Substance is a body horror movie. Elisabeth Sparkles, once a famous actress, feels that her age is impeding her life. So when she is offered something that is supposed to make her young again, she decides to try it. The service splits Elisabeth into both her old self and a younger self named Sue. One week Elisabeth is awake and able to live her life and the next week Sue is awake. Soon enough both halves begin to resent the other. The Substance was released in 2024. It was directed by Coralie Fargeat. It stars Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, and Dennis Quaid.

Speak No Evil is a remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name. Louise and Ben Dalton with their daughter Agnes, meet the easy going couple Paddy and Ciara who have a young son of their own. Paddy and Ciara quickly invite Louise and Ben to their home. But once Louise, Ben, and Agnes arrive at the couple's house things grow uncomfortable. Speak No Evil was released in 2024. The Predator by Chris Grine is an adaptation of the fourth Animorphs book by K.A.Applegate. In a few days it will be the anniversary of Marco's mother's death. Though in a few days Marco might be dead while helping the other Animorphs get Ax back to the Andalite homeworld. How many risks can Marco take before he ends up leaving his dad without anyone?

Deadpool & Wolverine (Mini-Review)
Deadpool & Wolverine is the third movie in the Deadpool series and the first one set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Deadpool is at a low point of his life and feels as if he doesn't matter. These thoughts aren't helped by the fact Vanessa broke up with him and he works at a dead end job. So when Mr. Paradox comes with the promise of giving Deadpool everything he wants, the Merc with a Mouth can't resist. Deadpool & Wolverine was released in 2024. It was directed by Shawn Levy. It stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, and Morena Baccarin.

Longlegs is a horror movie set near the end of the Satanic Panic. FBI Agent Lee Harker shows signs of being clairvoyant and so is assigned to figuring out who the infamous Longlegs is. Through a devastating series of events, Lee finds out that she is much more connected to the Satanist than she thought. Longlegs was released in 2024. It was directed by Osgood Perkins. It stars Maika Monroe, Nicolas Cage, and Blair Underwood.

MaXXXine is the third and final film in the X series. Six years since the porn shoot gone wrong sees Maxine finally breaking out of the adult film industry. Dune is a book written by Frank Herbert and the first published Dune novel. House Atreides finds themselves exiled to Arrakis, also known as Dune. Duke Leto, Lady Jessica, and the young Paul Atreides must learn to adapt to their new lives as there is no other option. House Harkonnen, long-time enemies of the Atreides, scheme to finally rid the universe of their rivals. And looming over everything is a prophecy that might have Paul at the center.

Sting is a horror movie that revolves around a spider. One snowy night in New York, a small rock breaks a window. A spider then hatches from it. Ignorant of its origins, a young girl takes it in as her pet and names it Sting.
