This movie does not have a mid or post credits scene.
This film had a lot of potential and it really shines during certain moments. There seems to be an attempt for it to focus on poverty, crime, and the judicial system. William Larsen, the car's owner, is hurt over the fact that his daughter was murdered and he was never able to get justice. He now blames modern day society for the tragedy. Yet outside of brief arguments between Eddie and William, the whole debate is left unanswered.
Things could have been improved if both Eddie and William were given much more depth. Or at least Eddie as I kept hoping to find out that he had some deep, dark secret. Something that would make the audience question if the punishment fit his past crimes. As an example of this: James Sunderland the main character in Silent Hill 2. He is someone who you're forced to confront isn't a morally pure person and there's a reason he wants to punish himself.
When William tortures Eddie with Polka music I laughed. I didn't hear anyone else laugh but I don't care. It was some dark humor that I really loved. It must have been because of the contrast of the happy music paired with the fact Eddie was in so much pain.
I would recommend Locked to those that like Bill Skarsgård and Anthony Hopkins. I would also recommend Locked to those seeking a tense thriller.
