A Yeaflon is a humanoid avian so their bodies are a combination of the two basic species.
Their bodies have both feathers and fur on them. The color of the majority of their body is a blue color. The lightness and darkness of the blue depends on the individual Yeaflon. Their wings and feathers on their tail are a green color. Again, the lightness and darkness of the color depend on the individual Yeaflon. Their beaks, feet, and hands are dark black.
They have one pair of wings on their backs. The wings are powerful and so Yeaflon are able to fly extremely quickly through whatever atmosphere they find themselves in. There are a few exceptions, of course.
Their heads have human-like eyes with a beak. The beak is more
fleshy than an Earth bird's beak. On their faces they'll have more or
less feathers depending on their age. The older they are, the less
feathers they have. The oldest among them have no feathers on their
faces and a thin layer of fur, making their faces appear nearly
skull-like.
Their necks are usually thin and snake-like which allows them to be able to twist their heads around to see better. It's also useful as a form of attack for those Yeaflon trained well enough. A rare few Yeaflon do have human-like necks.
Their tails are of medium length and are thin and have tail-feathers on the end. They
also have a few extra feathers on their tail that will come out when
more maneuverability is needed. The extra feathers on their tail grow back much more slowly than feathers elsewhere on their bodies.
Their fingers are thin, but are still able to use standard technology from other races. However, it is much easier for them to use their own technology as that is more comfortably fitted towards their own bodies. So their love of their technology over other species' isn't purely egotistical.
Their fingers end with sharp talon-like claws.
Their feet are a mix between human and bird of prey feet, with their feet resembling bird of prey feet more. They use their 'talons' to attack.
