Meg 2: The Trench is the sequel to The Meg. Jonas Taylor is fighting environmental crimes and also helping Mana One go even deeper into the Mariana Trench. He is also taking care of Meiying Zhang who, as a teenager, has an adventurous spirit. When Jonas goes on a routine mission down into the trench, Meiying sneaks onboard. Before Jonas can turn everyone around, they are attacked and must flee into the trench for safety. But the mysterious trench will offer more threats than anyone could imagine.
