Crossing the Divide 83
"I can understand why you want revenge, I really do." Khaleesi said.
"But what you want us to do...that doesn't line up with what the
Mormonts has been doing all this time."
"I don't care." I said with Eve in my lap and Eyrie in my arms. "Alex was senselessly murdered and my triplets...do you think that them dying was justified?"
"Of course not. But what about your caution? Do you really think it's wise to attack Alice so hard? Even if we kill Alice there will be the Umbrella Corporation to worry about. Wesker might even use our vendetta against Alice to his advantage."
I wanted to yell at my daughter but she was right. Attacking Alice without restraint would be suicide. But if I lined up my vendetta with Alice and destroying Umbrella...things might just work. It would be hard but it could work. The Mormonts were much stronger than they had been in the beginning. I think that we could wage war on two fronts if we wanted to.
"I admit there needs to be caution concerning Alice." I argued. "But we can't treat her as an ally any longer. We can't try to talk reason to her."

Let's Play Pokemon HeartGold (Part 3)
A Marriage of Convenience 2
"Ser Jorah, what is your opinion?" Tyrion asked.
"I don't think burning them was a good form of execution." I told her, repeating part of our silent conversation. "I trust that she had the best of intentions no matter her decision."
"I need to speak to my friend in private." Daenerys said.
The Imp looked at her and then at me. While he was not easy to be friends with, I could tell he had pity in his eyes. He was sad about something. Before I could ask him anything, he left leaving me alone with Missandei and Daenerys. The former slave gave me a look I couldn't read before she left. Now I was alone with the woman I loved.
She ran up to me and we kissed briefly. It lasted only a moment but there was so much passion in it. I didn't know how I refrained from fucking her.
"Your plan will work." Daenerys said softly. "Tyrion thinks I'm telling you that I will never love you right now. That I decided to do this in private for the sake of your dignity."
"I'm glad you are doing what's best for you." I told her, my eyes wandering over the body that I had longed after for so long.
"It was talking with Jon Snow that convinced me. He's a good man that will be pleasant enough to deal with."
I could see the guilt in her eyes and I knew why. Jon was a good man and yet we would be using him. But if Khaleesi were to take the Iron Throne, she couldn't remain blameless. If an opportunity presented itself, it would be foolish to waste it.
Daenerys pressed her body close to mine as she put her arms around my neck.
"Not here." I told her. "I haven't been with a woman in awhile so I doubt I'll be quiet."
"When it's safe, go where the dragons sleep." Daenerys said. "No one will be there."

Crossing the Divide 82
"I can't believe you're alive." Benjen said with a smile. "I didn't think that my night with Hisara meant anything at all."
"And now I'm going." I said knowing what his unspoken words meant. "I will return from Asshai and help to take down the Night's King. Afterwards I will rebuild Westeros and make it a place of peace for as long as I can. You'll be beside me."
"I don't know if I'll survive this war. Whatever can kill the White Walkers might also kill me."
"To win I might have to kill you?"
I had just found out who my father was. I had hardly been able to spend any time with him. He was like an acquaintance and I wanted that to change. After this war I wanted to have him be an actual human father to me. I wanted to create memories with him. If his guess was true then I would never know him. I would never know him like I should.
"I don't mind dying." Benjen said and took my hands in his. "I've faced death countless times before and how I am now...it's not really being alive. I can't explain what I mean, just that I feel wrong. Rescuing Bran and Meera made me feel like I had a purpose again. Serving Jon has given me a purpose. I want to be a father, a real father, to you but I can't. I'm not going to let Westeros freeze over for my sake. I know you won't let everyone die just so I'll be alive."
"How do you know that?" I argued.
"You have Stark blood in your veins."

Game of Thrones Season 7 Review Part 2: Important Characters
The latest season of Game of Thrones was...well...it happened. There
were some really good moments and some moments that made me rage. I
watch the show late at night so I can't properly yell out in case I wake
up anyone. Because there is a lot to talk about I'll be changing my
usual reviewing form to break this up into three parts.
The second part of this review will talk about the characters. When writing I focus more on the characters than anything else in my story. If I don't have good characters in my fiction, I won't enjoy it as much.
Season 7 of Game of Thrones did horrible things with its characters and not in the usual way. In other words it wasn't that the characters died horrible deaths but that the writers seemed to have forgotten how to write them. Luckily a good majority of the actors were able to save their performances via their acting abilities.
I am not going to talk about every single character but only those that had the most impact on me. So if I didn't mention your favorites here, feel more than free to comment a question or two about them.

Inside the Lore of the Rin Duology: Lessons from the Pack
I am making this series of blog posts for my roleplaying friends. The Rin Duology
is a long Game of Thrones/Resident Evil fanfcition and you shouldn't
need to read it to understand my Original Character (OC) Rin.
Now when I write fanfictions I don't always adhere to canon and deviate from it. Sometimes in large ways and sometimes in minor ways. So please ask me about what I know about the canon of either series before assuming. Although I have no doubt some will ignore this part.
This post explores Rin's connection to her direwolf pack. As it was the family she was raised with, her time with them impacted her in very meaningful ways. With them she learned life lessons and useful skills. The only thing I don't touch on is her 'Native Tongue' as I don't think it would fit in this post.
