Travels of Artictress: Tobias of the Johto Region Entry #2 (HeartGold)
Entry #2 Almost There
I knew being a Pokemon Trainer would be hard, but I didn't really understand how hard it would be. Starting off things seemed to be moving swiftly and then things got a little slower. I am extremely dedicated to training my Pokemon so I can beat Falkner, Gym Leader of the Violet City Pokemon Gym.
I want to start my journey off without a big Gym loss. I don't need my mom to be pitying me for that. I love her but sometimes she cares a little too much.

A Fateful Journey 7
Kaliforna, a Tundra, was his second in command. While being a peaceful breed, I had heard she was the healer. Healers always had a hidden dark side since they had to decide which injuries were more important. Which fighters could win a battle and who could be sacrificed for the greater good.
Jash was there too, her Light eyes showing no signs of the Lightweaver's presence. Instead, a cold and calculating gaze that was on my side for the moment.

Too Great a Sacrifice (Max's Journal)
The warriors, led by Elfangor, had recently come back from a battle with a clan from the Water Flight. A Beast clan had requested help and so Seitou had to oblige with his allies. I was impressed that a dragon would be so helpful and honest with who are supposed to be our enemies.
Chloe was cuddled up next to me as she wanted to relax from the battle. Even though she was now a machine herself, she seemed to like to imitate how she had been in life. According to Nazilla there would always be a constant struggle which would be worse in the beginning.
It was all my fault that my lover was now a machine, just like it was all my fault what had happened to my clan.

Selene the Fighter Giveaway (Flight Rising)
Update: The giveaway is over. Thanks to everyone that
participated. Maybe you were a member of Flight Rising and this giveaway
made you a fan of my blog. Or maybe you're a fan of my blog who has
suddenly learned about Flight Rising. If you're the latter, keep on the
lookout for the next registration window.
If you are a member of Flight Rising and can't wait until my next giveaway to get dragons from me. You can always check out the Auction House and my Dragon Shop for dragons I'm selling.
I also do nest rentals and lend out my cauldron.
If you want to find out more about my clan feel free to check out my dragons' journals and the clan's facebook page.
Selene was my first parakeet and was extremely close to my heart. She was known as the escape artist as she broke out of her first cage multiple times. While at mom's old house she figured out, before her cagemate Kiwi, how to tell what a glass door was and be able to avoid them.
She was an awesome bird full of quirks and an amazing personality. Recently she passed away but she didn't so without a fight.
Selene survived two months more than she was expected to. Slowly she lost her ability to fly and the use of her legs, but not before she flew up to the sunroof. Her loss of movement didn't mean she wasn't able to move around as she was able to 'walk' by using her beak. She did not let her disability slow her down at all.
I would faithfully deshit her and force feed her (the latter with help from either my Dad or reverezner) three times a day.
At the very last moments of her life, as she was going through the second set of seizures of her final night, she turned to the phone (where revs was on speaker phone) and then to me with a smile on her face.
So this giveaway lets remember this fighter who can never be replaced.
In my quest to give back to my loyal blog readers, here's another giveaway. This time I'm giving away dragons (I know, shocking) from the site Flight Rising. Unlike Dragon Cave, you can't sign up at any time but have to wait for a registration window. Go to the HOME PAGE of Flight Rising to check when the next registration window is. Even if you can't make this giveaway, you can participate in a future one. I am jashykins on the site.
Now this giveaway is running a little differently than my Dragon Cave one due to how breeding is done on Flight Rising. The number of dragons I give away each time is dependent on how many eggs are produced in the 'giveaway nest'. I have selling my dragons in the Auction House and Exalting others as part of my income on the site. Losing a little here and there is fine, but doing constant giveaways is a no no.
This time I am giving away three dragons.

Chronicles of Gaia: The Hunt
I breathed in the afternoon air. The air in Flowerland had a
sweetness to it, just as it had an uncanny amount of humidity. To me it was one
of the most unbearable places to be on Gaia. But duty, always, came before my
personal needs.
"Anine," One of my two men that were with me, the
other wasn't in sight at the moment, said. "It's been awhile, can't we
hunt?"
Anine Etero, a name that was hated by the Council of Ant and
their pawns the Snow Leopards. I had to stop myself from Avealing as the anger
coursed through my blood. The lies they had told us had to be punished. The
truth had to come out.
