Gay Representation Giveaway (Flight Rising)

Update: The giveaway has come and gone. Thank you everyone who participated. Only one dragon was chosen so I hope the person who chose Ned (now named Jace) enjoys him. He looks very shiny now. I love shiny!

For those that can't wait for their next giveaway fix, there are options. On Flight Rising there are BOARDS where people sell, trade, and giveaway dragons. I, among others, sell dragons via the Auction House.

If you want to learn more about my dragons, you can go to their Facebook Page.

For those who arrived late, feel free to talk about your favorite canonical LGBTQ+ characters.

It is 2015 and yet people still care about things that are really none of their business. Such as a person's sexual orientation. Some people think that their right to heterosexuality is harmed when people of the LGBTQ+ community get rights.

Luckily nowadays there are more non-straight characters in the media. Though people seem to still get in an uproar about same-sex couples. Today I will mention briefly two men in the LGBTQ+ community in fiction.

Jack Harkness from Doctor Who: Here is a man who is beyond lively and is just beyond fun to see. Due to a strange series of events, Jack is immortal. He is also in the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood.

Ned Weeks from The Normal Heart: I have only seen the HBO version and the movie is beyond sad so...probably won't read the play anytime soon. I have never cried so hard in a long time. Anyways...Ned is a gay rights activist. He is highly outspoken and isn't afraid to say what he means. This causes problems for him.

In my quest to give back to my loyal blog readers, here's another giveaway. This time I'm giving away dragons (I know, shocking) from the site Flight Rising. Unlike Dragon Cave, you can't sign up at any time but have to wait for a registration window. Go to the HOME PAGE of Flight Rising to check when the next registration window is. Even if you can't make this giveaway, you can participate in a future one. I am jashykins on the site.

Now this giveaway is running a little differently than my Dragon Cave one due to how breeding is done on Flight Rising. The number of dragons I give away each time is dependent on how many eggs are produced. I have selling my dragons in the Auction House and Exalting others as part of my income on the site. Losing a little here and there is fine, giving away half of my eggs each time is a no no for me.

This time I am giving away two eggs.

Below are listed the rules of this giveaway:

May the Giveaway be with You (Jash's Dragon Army)

Update: Another giveaway has come and gone. Thank you to all who participated, whether it was getting an egg/hatchling or just looking at the awesomeness, especially whoever named the three hatchlings they got with 'booty' somewhere in the name. Kudos, good sir.

If you still need a giveaway fix, head over to the Dragon Cave forums. Where I, now and again, give away eggs and hatchlings. There are also boards dedicated to people giving away eggs as well as trading.

If you have a Flight Rising account, see if there is a current Giveaway 2.0 going on.

If you want to learn more about my dragon army go HERE. There you can find info on different clans as well as the religions my dragons have. Slowly being worked on, no thanks to a lot of projects I'm currently dealing with. The next dragon with a big bio will be Rachel Crayak.

If you arrived late, feel free to discuss all things Star Wars. There is even a Star Wars poll on the sidebar (don't believe my mobile readers can see it).

Star Wars...back in high school, to Freshman or Sophomore year of college, I was deeply obsessed with this series. I adore sci-fi and Star Wars had so much content to look at. I mainly stuck to the books and movies. One of the reasons I have a soft spot for The Phantom Menace is that Liam Neeson plays a Jedi Master!

I eventually stopped being so into the series because there was so much to catch up on and new books seemed to be coming out constantly. I still know much more about Star Wars than any sane person should.

Figuring my blog readers should get something that I can actually give away.

If you don't already have a Dragon Cave account, you can sign up for one if raising dragon eggs interests you. If you already have an account, pick an egg at will. If you don't have an account and don't want one, please share this with a friend that does.

Here are the eggs this time around:

Dragon Stage Update 8/15/2015 (Jash's Dragon Army)

Adopt one today!

I am still trying for an alt-black! If this becomes an alt-black then you won't be able to name it, but will still be able to advertise if I like the name you suggest. Don't worry, I have horrible luck.

Remember that you still have a chance to name it HERE and you can view the benefits of doing so HERE.

If you would like to help raise this dragon egg you can:

Perogo (Jash's Dragon Army)

Adopt one today!
This dragon has been named:Perogo by Jockerlee77. The dragon is named after an original character of Jockerlee's.

The bio I have planned for him is:

Strange Place, Strange Creatures (Glau's Journal)

Recently I hadn't been able to get much rest. Salusa proved to be quite a clawful. She loves hiding some place and waiting hours for one of us to walk by. Luckily, as she has grown up, this quirk of hers has died down somewhat. The only dragon to fall in love with this part of her is Birchurawkp.

Today I have taken some time away from the rest of the clan to finally get some peace. I have used the excuse that I'm training my trainees in meditation so that I can go somewhere quiet. That somewhere is on the very edge of Seitou's territory.

Blackthorn and Anita were more than excited for this little excursion. I think they hope to run into trouble so that they're able to prove their worth to me. If only Jurassic wasn't leaving today as he adored meditation.

I touched the Darksteel Amulet of Necromancy that Nazilla had given me recently. For some odd reason that gave me hope that if I couldn't fend off any evil that attacked me today, she would rescue me without a second thought.
