Scourge growing up outside the continent left scars that can never heal. Even though she now has multiple mates (Alexander, Jorah, Daenerys, and Jon) and a son (Jeor), there is a wildness in her that will not fade away in time.

Scourge had thought that her untamed nature stopped with her. Yet sometimes that bloodlust seeps into her hatchlings. At least her scion will be raised with other dragons and hopefully they will be more adjusted than their mother.

Metis was the child Seitou and Kaliforna, the two leaders of Raven Hallow, that they kept. As the clan's unique form of worship by showing devotion to their deity and dragonkind by breeding new dragons, it was unique that they kept any of their hatchlings.

Over the course of years, Metis slowly lost faith in her parents and believed that a new regime was in order. A feeling that was shared and made stronger by her friendship with Vornz. It was also a feeling that she hid from the majority of the clan.

But her icy heart eventually bled into some of her hatchlings. Those of her hatchlings that were affected became unhappy with any form of hierarchy and tended to live solitary lives.

Jon was originally part of the Arcane Flight as he loved learning. One of his favorite things to do was to observe the night sky as it meant a rare moment of relaxation. Even after leaving his former Flight behind, he still likes looking at the stars during a cloudless night.

When some of his offspring hatched with wings in the same vein as the night sky, he was overjoyed to be able to share his favorite pastime with other dragons. Now, even if they were far from the surface, dragons could relax to images of the night sky.

Awhile ago an otherworldly danger attacked Sornieth. Demons from the stars had begun an invasion with a growing stronghold in the Plaguebringer's domain. They take over the minds of dragons while their hosts become prisoners in their own body.

It was Kali who managed to free herself and eventually warn Seitou of the invasion. Soon after Elfangor was assigned to create a team whose main mission would be to fight these demons.
