Weekly Update 11/22/2015

For those of you who are stopping by my blog for the first time and/or don't have a lot of time to keep up with my blog, this is for you.

I will be posting on some of what I consider important stuff I have blogged about this week and updates on upcoming chapters of fics/projects.

A Fateful Journey (Table of Contents)

Ellimist is traveling to the Icewarden, to go into his service. But her plans are interrupted when she sees a Coatl in need of help. As Ellimist deviates from her plan to take the dragon to the Plaguebringer, she finds a strong bond growing between her and the Coatl.

This is a part of the Legends of Shadows series which was started so I can follow storylines and not be limited to the sporadic nature of the weekly journal entries. The Plan is Starting (Metis' Journal)

Today I had to decide whether or not to keep some of the latest hatchlings. Cassie and JakeBerenson had produced offspring that were too bright for my eyes. Their two offspring were extremely loyal, one of them adoring felines, but something told me that they wouldn't last long in the clan.

Which isn't a fault of theirs.

Herbie and MaryGraham produced excellent offspring with one exception to the batch. All of them beautiful children and being sound of mind and body. Maybe Misty could make it, so I've left it up to Seitou whether she will go or stay. I cannot make a clear decision about that Fae.

I am happy about one new dragon entering the clan. I am more than excited, to tell the truth. I'm relieved that another part of my plan, albeit unexpected, has fallen in front of me. Vergere seems more than a little useful.

Jash's Writing Tips: Writing a Romance

Ah, yes, it has been awhile and I come bearing news of love. Romances can take up an entire genre of their own as well as be part of a series. Such as Harry Potter is in the Fantasy genre and yet has various romances through its seven book run.

So this post isn't about the Romance genre as a whole, but having romantic storylines in your story. However, feel free to use any tips here to help you write a story in the Romance genre.
