The Witcher Season 2 (Mini-Review)
The Witcher Season 2 picks up shortly after Season 1. After the Battle of Sodden, Yennefer of Vengerberg is left without her magic and a prisoner of Nilfgaard. Princess Cirilla of Cintra yearns to become powerful enough to fight those that would seek to harm her. Geralt of Rivia deals with having to be a father and finds the task straining. In the midst of their struggles, the fate of the Continent hangs in the balance. The Witcher Season 2 was released on Netflix in 2021. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the showrunner. It stars Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, Eamon Farren, and Anya Chalotra.

Blood of Elves (Mini-Review)
Blood of Elves is the first novel in Andrej Sapkowski's Witcher series. Without a ruler, there is a political struggle to decide who will rule Cintra. Whoever is crowned king must have Princess Cirilla as his bride or else no one will accept his rule. It isn't enough that Ciri is an important political figure, she is also of great interest among those who specialize in magic. It is Geralt of Rivia's duty to protect the princess, but that's easier said than done.

The Last Wish (Mini-Review)
The Last Wish is one of two short story collections set before Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher novels. The framing device for this short story collection is that the famed Witcher Geralt of Rivia is healing from a serious wound he acquired on one of his many adventures. While healing he recalls past adventures of his, including the one that gave him his current injury.
