Subeta HAs: Rachel's Nightmare

In this series I will make Human Avatars (HAs) based on my original characters, characters from movies, items, ect. If you want to suggest a future HA challenge just comment and I'll see what I can do.

Today I'll be doing one variation of Rachel from the Animorphs book series. The book series is aimed at young adults but is actually pretty mature in certain aspects while being childish in others. Rachel is one of the main characters. She is around 11-12 when she finds out about a secret alien invasion of Earth. Along with Jake, Cassie, Marco, Tobias, and eventually Ax she fights.

Rachel's main characteristics are polar opposites of each other. On one hand she is a girly girl that adores fashion and the mall. She loves finding a good deal on an outfit. On another hand she is the most bloodthirsty Animorph out there. She says 'let's do it' to any and all crazy ideas. On yet another hand she doubts herself and fears how much she loves the war. She is a complicated character like the majority of characters in the Animorphs series.

I'm not recreating any part of the Animorphs series in this HA, I'm merely taking a general idea for the character.

Subeta HAs: Rin at King's Landing

For awhile I have been wondering what posts I could do about Subeta. I have series I do for Flight Rising and Dragon Cave, so I had to do something for the site I've been on the longest. I just had to. It finally dawned on me that I could do something dealing with Human Avatars (HAs) as that's the part of Subeta that I just adore. My current username on the site is RinKaari.

In this series I will make HAs based on my original characters, characters from movies, items, ect. If you want to suggest a future HA challenge just comment and I'll see what I can do.

Today is one variation of my Original Character (OC) Rin from my Game of Thrones/Resident Evil fanfiction the Rin Duology. Throughout the fic she goes between the Game of Thrones tv universe and the Resident Evil movie universe. I've been trying for a long time to get her done right as a HA. Besides the HA I'm about to show you, I've tried two other times to find something I'm happy with. This one isn't perfect even for the scenario, but I'm pleased with it.

The version of Rin I'm covering today is during her time in King's Landing. For those not familiar with Game of Thrones, it's basically where the center of the Seven Kingdom's government is. Anyways...Rin was captured by Jaime Lannister and the kingsguard when she gave birth to her son Jeor Kaari, named after her husband's father. Upon arriving in the city she was tortured by then Queen Cersei Lannister and only stayed because Jaime held something over her. The something was Jeor's identity being kept secret and her ancestral sword being kept safe. Later she was able to get her freedom by defeating the Undead Mountain and effectively overthrowing Cersei. As she overthrew the old queen she was readily accepted by the people of King's Landing as the new Queen.

Rin was heavily scarred because of her torture and so she wears revealing clothing to reassure herself that she's still desirable.

There is a lot more that happened but I didn't want to waste too much of your time. So I only gave as much information as was needed to give the HA some context.

The Crystal Shop has RE-released AN new item. Now, on Subeta, there have been various types of matter released to the site. Sea Matter is the latest one. A good way to start the new month IS BY A COOL RE-RELEASE LIKE THIS.

Human Avatar Inspired by Rachel

On Subeta you can make Human Avatars (also known as HAs). With a huge variety or items you have lots of HAs you can design. Plus with all the ways you can layer, there are even more options. The HA at the top of this post is inspired by Rachel but isn't supposed to be her.

Wizard Quest Shop Has New Items

Wizard Quests are my favorite quests on Subeta. Probably has to do with the fact that making Subeta Points (sP) is easy to do with selling Wizard Tokens, those things never go out of style. Anyways, the Wizard's Quest shop has new items.

New Delish Lines: Tor & Uss

In the Cash Shop, the place on Subeta where you spend real money to buy items for the site, there are now two new Delish lines. One for the men (Uss) and one for the women (Tor) Human Avatars. The one on top of the post is Tor and below is Uss:

A Dark and Creepy Human Avatar

One of the things on Subeta that I adore is the Human Avatar (HA) system. The only thing I collect on Subeta are clothing items.

New Junko Line: Encase

Subeta is getting some brand new fancy items. Specifically, the Subeautique is having new items released. The Junko designer is releasing a new line called Encase. This line seems to be very...bugish. Specifically beetle related items. Most of the items appear to be a shade of blue.

Winter Items Retiring for the Year

Well spring is coming soon. I live in Florida so the changes of the seasons aren't easily noticed. It's like Florida is the spot where there is only one time of the year. Anyways, some Winter Items on Subeta will be retiring once spring starts.

Graveyard Kumos and Serpenth Get a New Look

Well the Survival Event is on this year which means zombies! So happy this year that I can bite and turn people into fellow zombies. I have the power!

2015 Free Shop Giveaway

As with every year, the Free Shop gave stuff away. This year's giveaway had items from different shops slowly being released. Such as Melody Cottage items were released one and the next day Pirate items were released.

Mysterious Melody 2014 Updates

I wasn't really active last year so some of the changes I am noticing now may have been made in 2013. However, this is my first year to have a chance to notice them so I'll talk about them now.

Two New Challengers Appear: Deciduous and Deadwood

To all you battlers: There are now 200 challengers in the Battle Coliseum! While I'm not a big battler, I battle every now and again for fun, this will make some people happy I'd imagine.

Morostide 2014 (Subeta Event Review)

Morostide is a fairly standard event each year that is Subeta's version of Halloween. Usually it's the standard trick-or-treat at someone's profile, find random pumpkins around the site and carve them, go to the Pumpkin Patch, and that's really about it.

But this year the site gave us something that...wow. There are some things that remind me of why I fell in love with this site. I am also going to try and get better at knowing the lore of the site, but I'm getting ahead of myself now.

How the Raffle Ticket Changed

For awhile the Raffle Ticket was an item you randomly got when you posted on the Subeta Forums. It used to be very rare and would give you prizes from the Cash Shop. But recently it was changed to appear more frequently and now you get something else while randomly posting on the Forums.

Tobias HA for Morostide 2014

Morostide is the Subeta Halloween event. A time where you can trick or treat and there is even a plot this year! For this year's Morostide I decided to dress up my Human Avatar (HA) as Tobias from the Animorphs book series by K.A.Applegate.

This turned out to be a daunting task as there were no items to turn your HA into a red-tailed hawk, at least not specifically.

10 Year Anniversay (Subeta Event Review)

This is the first event I'm reviewing in a very long time and I have changed my style. Hopefully these Subeta event reviews go over well and evolve into something actually good. I won't be able to review everything as...well...I won't always be able to be online when an event is in session, sadly.

For this event I was on for a good majority of the days, but it was only on the last few days that I couldn't be online due to me traveling to California (and as I'm starting to write this review I'm still there and on the comp for the first and likely last time for the vacation). But I've read up on the news.
