Travels of Artictress: Rin of the Alola Region Entry #1 (Moon)

Entry #1: Starting a New Life

My name is Rin and I just arrived in the Alola Region not that long ago. Heck, Mom still hasn't finished unpacking and most of our stuff is still in boxes. Lots of boxes. I'm surprised so many fit inside our small little house.

Travels of Artictress: Jash of the Unova Region Entry #6 (White Version 2)

Entry #6: It's Cold Outside

I was kicked out of my house by my own mother at age ten. To me this is just another fact of life and something that doesn't make it hard for me to sleep. All trainers are kicked out of their houses at age ten to learn the art. The craft that is so important to the world. Some kids, of course, aren't forced out and become the regular people I meet along my journeys. At age eighteen this is more than comfortable to me. What has happened recently has made it a little hard for me to sleep.

Travels of Artictress: Tobias of the Johto Region Entry #5 (HeartGold)

Entry #5 An Epic Chase

So...I might have wasted a lot of energy chasing after some legendaries. I can't recall their names, just that I ran into one once and then became obsessed with chasing them down. I would go all across the Johto Region just for a glimpse at one. Figuring I needed to trap them from getting away, I tried to make one fall asleep...that didn't work.

The bad part of that was I didn't train my Pokemon as quickly as I should've. I could have spent endless days and nights finding the best places but I didn't. I spent my time trying to capture Pokemon I have no chance at getting right now. I felt useless each time one of them escaped and not even picking Apricorns could cheer me up.

Which Pokemon Go Team Leader Are You? (Quiz)

Pokemon Go is a mobile game (and one I can't play as often as I'd like because the weather messes day plans up) where you capture Pokemon in the real world. Finally you can be a real life Pokemon master. Minus the fact that you aren't kicked out of your house at age 10 and forced to explore the world before you hit puberty. In Pokemon Go there are three Gym Leaders: Blanche, Candela, and Spark. So which one are you?

Travels of Artictress: Jash of the Unova Region Entry #5 (White Version 2)

Entry #5: A More Rigorous Gym Training Routine

While the way I trained for gyms has worked fine so far, I decided to increase how hard I trained. Becoming a great Pokemon master should mean I test my limits in every fashion. Knowing this I decided to train all my battle Pokemon at the same time instead of just the ones I would use to defeat a particular gym. I have many powerful Pokemon and it's wrong of me not to use them and so make them feel abandoned.

Of course I extend this thought to all of my Pokemon and not just the strong ones.

Travels of Artictress: Tobias of the Johto Region Entry #4 (HeartGold)

Entry #4 Two Gyms Down

Wow, it's been a little while since I've written a journal entry. Things have been happening here in Johto and it's been hard to find time to write one of these entries. I'm sorry but once I beat Bugsy in Azlea Town, earning me the Hive Badge, I felt like I needed to take on yet another gym leader as soon as possible.

This meant long hours spent traveling, training, and sometimes even sleeping. It was hard to get up some mornings but it was all worth it. Though the gym leader I battled next was...well...beyond odd. I guess she's a good person but she cried when I defeated her.

Pokemon Go Adventures Day 5

I, like the majority of people out there, have fallen in love with Pokemon Go. It has gotten me out of the house and I'm a little more active because of it. As longer projects take longer and the deluge of my Game of Thrones/Resident Evil fanfic may be getting to some people, I'll be recording my Pokemon Go Adventures to spice up this blog a little bit.

These 'adventures' are when I go out for a long walk to Pokestops and other random places. 'Adventures' are not me opening Pokemon Go now and again to see if I can catch Pokemon in my house.

I'm unsure of how long I'll be doing this so if you are interested in more Pokemon Go Journal entries please tell me.
