The Random Cuts to the Future and Narration
These really don't have as great of a purpose as you think when you first watch the movie. You think that something big will be going down while that isn't the case. Something does go down and it does have an impact, but the build up ruins what happens. The emotional impact of what happens at the end isn't as good as it could have been because of the build up problem.

The Location
The majority of the movie (except for a minor scene or two) keeps the location the same. Those who've seen The Night Visitor (2013) will recognize the house. The characters are kept in the house because of a really bad storm. With low budget movies like this it's good to choose a singular location that doesn't require too many effects to make the movie work.

Decent Pacing
There is a mystery of what happened and then how each character will discover the secret. You know by the random flashes of the future that something bad is going down. So the whole movie you are just waiting to see what happens. Again, payoff isn't good but the suspense would've been awesome if there was better editing in the movie.

Final Thoughts
This movie was very enjoyable. It is hard for me to rate b-movies because I always tend to compare the technical aspects and how much I enjoyed it, but I am a big sucker for b-movies. Sometimes an enjoyable film isn't always good on the technical aspect. I would highly recommend this movie if you want something to relax to and want something with drama.
